Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voice Play are the holy trinity of a capella.

Beatboxer is Adam Rupp. He is what separates Home Free from other acapella bands. He is world class in his abilities. Home Free can make you forget that there are no actual instruments playing with them. He has several videos on you tube showing his amazing skills. Just type in Adam Rupp drum solo and you will be amazed.

That’s Adam Rupp….you might be confused by the long hair. Adam let’s it grow and then once it’s long he gets it cut and donates it to be made into wigs for children with cancer. Depending on when the video is made his hair might be short or long. I so respect him for doing that! ❤

Listen to Helplessly hoping, 5 part harmony, then there's Chance's, arrangement of Can't out Run you.

Adam Rupp is the best beatboxer of Home Free. Tim is the best bass and Austin is the best high tenor. Rob did great. The harmonies are great in this song 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and he and his brother Chris Rupp (in ball cap) started Home Free in college in 2000. Adam started beatboxing way back then. Chris was with them when they won the Sing Off in 2013 and left the group in 2016 and was replaced by Chance then. The Rupp brothers and Rob (glasses) are from Minnesota and the other boys are from the south. Austin is from Georgia, Tim from Texas and Chance from Alabama. Love this Eagles song. Such great harmonies! 😍

Chris Rupp (one in the hat) and Tim Foust did a cover of "Long Black Train". It was outstanding!

They were in Dallas about a month ago. I saw them the day before in Mt. Pleasant where they kicked off their tour.

That's Adam Rupp ! LoL. He's been their beatboxer since he and his brother Chris ( the guy in the cowboy hat) started Home Free. They look so young in this one. I love the older songs with Chris as much as I love the newer ones with Adam Chance who they added when Chris decided to go do his own thing. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

The "Beat Boxer" is Adam Rupp. He and his brother Chris Rupp (the guy wearing the ball cap) were the founders of the group in 2001. Chris left the group in 2016 to pursue other projects and was replaced by Adam Chance (just referred to as Chance so as not to be confused with Adam Rupp). This song was made famous by the eagles. Check out their Sing Off performances which are all on KZfaq. It is fun to see how they were introduced to the world.

They were in Dallas several times this year. They wrre there for New Years and then started their new tour there in March.

That would be the best beat boxer ever, mr. Adam Rupp.

They've never gotten into a 'gotta keep the same look' schtick. Adam's hair goes from short to long & back again. Austin's hair is currently really long. Tim stopped colouring his during Covid & is letting it go grey. Rob is about the only one who's never changed! Their harmonies are always outstanding - no auto-tune, processing necessary.

Thanks for your reaction! I grew up listening to the Eagles music & had their albums. They were known for their harmonies. I absolutely love this cover by Home Free. Their harmonies are so tight & the best in the business. And Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is awesome as usual. Also like the video showing 7 different bridges in Minneapolis.

Chance dropped a new solo: the sea shanty "Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her" but he made it into a lament. Very beautiful. Looks like the Hound and the Fox were mixed in there as well.

I'm terrible with names but Adam and the bald guy in a cap with a beard are from Minnesota and they are brothers. They were among the founders of the group. The guy with the cap left a good while back and has a great voice, as all the rest do. I don't remember why, got tired of touring, wanted to settle down and make babies or raise them, something like that. He is greatly missed. Austin leaving will be hard on the group and I wonder how much longer they'll keep the group. Either way they have made an enormous contribution to the music industry as far as I'm concerned and it's sad when one must go. Glad you review them thanks!

The Rupp's are from Minnesota. I believe they both live in Minneapolis now (originally Mankato). Rob is also from Minneapolis. Adam and Rob both live in Minneapolis still. Austin and Tim live in Nashville and Chance lives in LA. Their producer is based in Minneapolis.

Sorry, they were in Dallas at the end of March this year. You'll most likely have to wait until at least next year for them to be back in that area.
