I played this for my six year old grandson, and about halfway through he said, "I don't know why, but I feel like I'm gonna cry". I explained that sometimes things can be so beautiful that it makes you cry. So if you ever wonder if your music truly matters, play this for a young child. A heartbreakingly lovely performance.

My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!

You could be telling my life, it was so much like yours. Mom died when she was 62 and I was in my early 20s. I am 70 this year and still remember her singing this song, not just at Christmas, but anytime during the year that her heart needed a lift. Their performance of this song brought all those memories back for me too. Bless you.

My Dad died three years ago this last January and one of the things I am so very thankful for is that I can still hear the sound of his voice in my head. Yes, it is a great gift from God. Dad can still bring me solace and a peacefulness. That was unexpected. God bless your Mother for how she loved you. May you hear her singing until the end of your days.

I have only been a fan for a month, when a friend sent me this song at Christmas. I am 62 and disabled and I want you to know that I absolutely love love all your music. I was in a gospel singing group when I was 14 years old.We were called "The Ambassadors". Singing country gospel since I was 8. My first solo was "How Great Thou Art". Singing got me through some pretty tough times. Your beautiful harmony voices have instilled the love I have had in both country music and the beautiful gospel hymns. Now on my darker days when I get frustrated that I live in a wheelchair, your music uplifts my testimony and soul. I am going to become a patron and buy some of your CDs this coming week. Just wanted you to know Home Free that I listen to your awesome harmony every night! I hope perhaps you will do a concert in Boise, ID soon. I will definitely be there, it will be so worth the 80 mile trip!! God bless you all!!💖

Lost my grandfather last year on Christmas eve as I got into the car to leave this song was playing at 12am. This was a man I looked up to my hole life not a day goes by don't think about him. At the funeral as i sat in the front row I seem to set there with questions until once again I heard this song during the service I knew my grandfather was a peace and it was the song that help me understand this. I'll always support you're music defiantly my favorite group out there thank you.

I just love Tim’s voice in the opening of this song every time I hear it the hair on my arms raises. Born in Texas, Tim’s very slight totally natural Texas twang gives it an extra something special. His beautiful med lotic tones whether he is singing Tenor or Bass always just demand attention. I will leave u all with this quote from Jeremy Michael Lewis, acoUstiKat on Tim Foust he says it better than I could, “If anyone out there is wondering, Tim is not a bass. Tim is also not a baritone or a tenor. Tim is a gift from God himself to bless the world with his own category. Let it be known: Mr. Foust can drop bombs that will blow any cannon out of the water, and he looks great doing it too. The only thing more sizable than Tim’s talent is the humility...”

Each year since 2014 I have played this song and their CD starting in November. Fell upon them on Facebook in 2014 and have seen them 6 times since. They are not only great singers they are GREAT HUMANS. Austin, you look like a baby in this video.......so happy for all their success. Well deserved!

This is the best version of this song out there that I've heard so far. Great, great talent with these men. True ranges sung with precise accuracy...beautiful. The young one at the end and the baritone in the beginning made my day. I was so disappointed with the versions of this song sung previous to me finding this which means...there are miracles.

I found this rendition roughly a year ago. It is July 2022 and i am listening to it because 1. I love Home Free 2. I love listening to Tim Foust and his range 3. Listening to the angelic voice of Austin Brown amazes me. Along with his little little nose wrinkles. 4. Because Christmas os my favorite time of year.

@@oopurpledove Now, now, that's just you dear and your dirty mind.. But seriously, he makes faces when he sings, a lot, I don't think he's particularly in control of that. He sings so joyously and I love the way he smiles when he sings, very few top singers do that, it's endearing.

Who keeps wanting the 10 commandments taken off all federal buildings ? Who wants to stop the pledge of allegiance out of our schools ? Who wants to destroy the nuclear family in this country ? On August 17th 2019 the Democratic National Committee passed a resolution to denouncing orthodox Christianity! Look it up. I was once a dem. But with this party I found myself unable to keep my values and beliefs and belong. These are not your dems from the 60s.

It's already November 2021 and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Whenever I hear this song from the other artists, I always remember this rendition and I keep coming back to it. It's very calming and just soooo relaxing to listen to this rendition, it touches my soul. This past 2 years may be tough for all of us because of the world's situation, but let's end the year with a grateful heart and still look forward for a better world. Never lose hope, my friends!
