Maybe the shrill, vocal, America-haters we see on TV are a tiny minority that yell the loudest and the REAL AMERICANS are all of you guys and gals commenting, here, and giving thumbs ups, here. I believe in America, and I believe we can heal this land again, by God's grace and with His help! God Bless the USA!

As a Muslim in America. I thank God that He made me end up in this country where I am free to practice my religion and be who I want. I filed for my citizenship today, but I always felt as American as anyone throughout my life. I thank God I would soon be able to call myself an American. May God bless the USA, the land of the free. And that may it always be.

You ARE already an American my brother ! You don’t need a piece of paper to be an American....you love this country , what it stands for , and what it tries to be and you want to be a part of it ! That’s what makes you an American not passing some test or a piece of paper . Welcome brother so glad you’re here - we need more people like you and less haters who want to tear it down 👍🏻😎

As a Navy vet, when I got out the military was not appreciated, bad memories. Today I’m the guy that sits in the back of a restaurant and picks up the tab for someone in uniform, military, police, fireman or other first responder so they always know there is someone that cares and respects what they do. I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to Lee or this specific vid, the tears flow every time. This is why I served, this is why all my brothers and sisters serve or have served. As has been said before, all gave some, some gave all. God bless the USA and God Bless Lee Greenwood and the other singers in this vid. Nuff said.

Lee Greenwood wrote it, he would disagree, when we talked he called it his "little song" that he was very proud of and couldn't believe how much it moved everyone ... that was like 30 years ago (we were both young back then) The grown hard core MEN that cried openly when he sang it for us moved him very much, but he called it his little (special) song because he had Hits on Radio and it was just us Military folks that just loved this song so much and he Loved us Military folks, he followed us around... I actually saw him 3 times (only spoke with him once) Look at the History of this song, it has been around for a Long Time

I have ALWAYS thanked our military men & women!! In fact, I tend to show my appreciation by going up to them and PERSONALLY tell them how much I appreciate them serving. The sad part about it is they CONSTANTLY tell me NO ONE EVER THANKS THEM. Once when I was in a restaurant, I saw an WWII (World War II) vet in uniform. I told his waitress I would pay for his meal as well. She was sworn to secrecy, wasn't allowed to tell him ANYTHING. Since his table was near mine, I actually got to see the whole thing unfold before my eyes!!!! It was WONDERFUL!!!! So, anyone reading this, P-L-E-A-S-E remember to thank our military men & women, past - present - & future!!!! Without them, we wouldn't be free!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 My dad had served in the Navy & a brother of mine in the Army.

It is not only for the US but for each country. "I won't forget the men who died and gave that right to me. And I gladly stand up next to you to defend her( the country) still today." Every time I listen to this song, I cannot help weeping with deep respect for the people who lived and died for their own countries. If everyone realizes and appreciates that the society we live in now is what these people have established taking risks and effort, and if everyone can be humble, each society might be better.

Let me tell you about the first time that I heard the song, “God Bless the USA.” I was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea aboard USS Saratoga. It was already a memorable deployment. We had been involved in a miniature “war at sea” with the Libyan Navy. We won, BTW - sank two Libyan vessels and blew up a shore-based missile site. AND in a separate event, we had tracked an airliner carrying the escaping terrorists who had captured a cruise ship and killed an American citizen, and we forced the plane to land at a joint US-Italian military base in Sicily where the terrorists were taken into custody. Right in the middle of all of that, the USO sent a team of entertainers to visit us and raise morale. One of the songs they sang as, “God Bless the USA.” We had been out of the country for months, and had never heard the song before. Right there, 5,000 battle hardened sailors and marines wept openly. I will never forget the emotions. Since then, that song has always been special to me. And now, Lee Greenwood, Home Free, and the Singing Sergeants have recorded a new version. Once again, I have seen that my eyes are not water-tight - they leak.

Every single time since the first time I heard this song on my naturalization ceremony, I cried. I feel deeply thankful & lucky to be living here. I teach my children who were born here to love this country & work hard to protect & build it up. Also, I told them to put an American flag sticker on my urs after I died. I told them to remember to display American flags in front of their house when they grew up & remember how much I loved this country when I was alive & above all these: feel proud to be Americans!

The first time I heard this song was over in England when my husband was stationed there for a second time. Any time someone had a party - even when I had one for my AVON team at the local Football Club - only a few were American, but we invited friends from base as it was Christmas time - w played this song. We used to joke that it was the unofficial Air Force song. Then…. a few years later while in Germany, my husband wound up in the Desert for Desert Shield & Desert Storm. Again, this was one of the most played songs on the Armed Forces Network. There were a number of great songs put out by Country Musicians! Our kids grew up listening to these songs and even now - all are in their 40’s - they are like me and get goosebumps whenever we hear this one. Yes…. I always tear up - I can’t help it because it truly is one of the most patriotic songs (like our Anthem) and because I always get to remembering the great times in England and the scary time in Germany. Hard to believe it was so long ago! I was a young mother in England and am now a proud grandmother living in FL - grandkids all live in NC, so they appreciate the Country music, too (along with their other music - we all like variety). Beautiful rendition! J

WOW! This new rendition is on repeat whenever I listen to it. I'm a proud military parent. My son graduated from the Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) a couple of years ago. Early this year he graduated with a Masters degree from San Diego under the Air Force and recently received his orders. He and his wife and their 7 month baby (my granddaughter Talitha) will be moving to Italy where he will be stationed for the next 4-5 years. We will miss them terribly. But I'm extremely proud that he's chosen this path to serve our country. Although, I moved to the US when I was 13 y/o, from American Samoa (US Territory), I've always been a proud American. I resent and would not tolerate those who bad mouth our country and its leaders. I'm certain no leader is PERFECT, but that's not a reason to condemn anyone and especially our military. We are a POWERFUL NATION for a reason. Our FREEDOM needs to be protected at all times. Our FREEDOM is the envy of the world and they'll do anything to tear it down. God has blessed our NATION and its people!!

Phó Hằng Phú Sát - From one Vietnamese person to another, I think it depends on where the song is played and what it means to each individual person. I’m Vietnamese-American, and as an immigrant, I grew up believing in this song. I felt a connection with the lyrics that is probably deeper than I can describe in a KZfaq comment. When it’s sung in certain settings, I agree that it can indeed come across the way you describe, and that’s dismaying. I understand that feeling, but when the song is sung for the right reasons, in the right places, by the right group of people, I find it to be incredibly moving, uplifting, inspiring, and unifying. This particular rendition, at this point in time, touches me. But not everyone has to feel that way.

Yes buddy, you said it, "GOD Bless America Again" God and only God can HEAL the world from the virus if we would only let him. I know most people don't want God to do anything. Even with the racist, I am not like that way but, God made people like you and me, only some of us have different skin color. But the inside of us all, we have a heart that is basically the same, our color of blood is the exact same color, RED. We all have same kind of bones, we hurt the same. We breathe and speak with our voices like the same. We all put on our pants the same way, one leg at a time. Basically, what I'm saying is we are no different than any one else in this world. We get born, and then we die, sooner than others but we all die. Then WE ALL WILL STAND alone before GOD and be JUDGED. Now rather other people may believe the same way I do, if they don't that's on them. I won't think of them any different than myself. We all have the right to believe what we want to believe. I didn't mean to go on as long as I did, and for that I am sorry. But I myself Love America and will always love America. I am ashamed of what we have become, but if we all work together, America can be great again, with God's help.

The "soul" of the American man is something so big that words cannot describe it. Our family did not become immigrants, but God wanted to lead us to walk in His path. Now I see the great sacrifices that the US has made and that we in Finland now have to make because of our neighboring country. As allies, we must overcome that empire of lies (and first help Ukraine to survive.) In Finland and the USA, we have the freedom to live and express our opinions. This we will preserve, as the founding fathers of the USA stated in their Declaration. Most of our presidents have also had similar ideals and so do I. Finland is ready to defend freedom. It has been ready to fight an aggressor for 50 years - now supplemented not only by our own weapons but also by weapons sold by the US (and Israel). GOd BLESS THE U.S.A AND FINLAND (OUR "LITTLE AMERICA")❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🤝🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🙏

Just live in another country, especially a third world country, and see how you appreciate their freedoms or lack of. Folks, don’t take this country for granted.

While you are correct that the USA has freedom I wouldn't say that the USA is the nation you make it out to be. There is something between black and white. There are, in lots of aspects, much better nations to live in. The USA is by no means perfect and has many many many flaws. This goes for all nations of course. A few examples of why I rather want to live in my own country than in the USA - It's very easy to get fired and lose your job in the USA Over here there are rules and policies which will protect employees against layoffs. It's still possible to get laid off. But your boss will need to have a very good reason to do so. - healthcare is very expensive in the USA. In my country pretty much all hospital care gets paid for by insurance companies. By law, every citizen over here is required to have such an insurance. Depending on your income, the government will partially refund you the costs of the insurance. - republican vs democrats silliness In my country, we have learned to talk with each other and come to agreements that are carried by a majority consisting of multiple parties. This means we won't see the silly things as often which the USA is seeing when the majority switches between republican and democrats. When we choose to do something, the next government won't revert the whole thing with a few pencil strokes because back when the law was made there were enough people in favor for it. - police brutality Sorry but you guys have a long way to go. From what I have seen though there are some good things happening - gap between the poor and the rich While the USA offers a lot of opportunities. The poverty that the USA has is heartbreaking when compared to several other western countries. In my country there obviously is a lot of poverty too. But not as extreme as in the USA. Also over here, there is much more care possible for when you are poor. - politicly biased media In my country, the media aren't favoring any political party. Our media are fully independent and won't throw dirt. Anyways. My 2 cents. I could go on but you get the idea. the USA is not perfect at all and has many flaws. Neither is my country by the way.

This is an incredible performance. The Air Force crew have some amazing vocals! This Country is a great place and I'm proud to be part of it. It saddens me to see it being chipped away day by day, at the hands of corrupt and greedy politicians with the lust for power, control, and influence. I'm a disabled Veteran and spent nearly four years in combat. It makes me angry to know that what we soldiers fought for doesn't mean anything to the people leading this Country. This song reminds me that there are great Americans that fill this Country and still believe in what it stands for. With any luck, things will change for the better.
