It's a french song called "Santiano" by Hughues Aufray if you need a full version haha

@@emixamidou Both are good songs, but Santiano by Hughues Aufray is a different song altogether. The best version of Santiana is by Fisherman's Friends. And a very good (imo best) version of Santiano is by a german band called Santiano. They also do an english version featuring Nathan Evans

The Longest Johns partner with SKÁLD to do a really excellent version that mixes Santiana (the original sea shanty) and Santiano (a French song from 1961). It's under the name Santiano, but it's got English and French verses.

This live version is awesome. When I saw HF live twice in August, it was one of my favorites they performed. Thr crowds really get into it. So glad I saw this on Patreon. This crowd is huge and I love the energy from the guys and the crowd. Great video gents.

I’ve experienced this live 3-4 times and it’s so fun! When Home Free first released the Sea Shanty Medley, I remember thinking it was an odd choice for them. But they can sing anything and make it better. And sea shanties kind of have a universal appeal. Looking forward to maybe getting to hear them sing Skull n Bones live in the future.

It doesn't matter how they used to be, or how the HOLY SPIRIT WORKED in their WILL before--those who have ACHIEVED the LATEST WORK of GOD are the blessed, and those who do not follow the latest work in the present are removed. Because GOD ELEVATED you, you must CONFIRM your efforts and you must PREPARE your elevation to ACCEPT GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS, YOU MUST STAND in the place that GOD GIVES you, Aspire to be one of GOD'S PEOPLE , ACCEPT KINGDOM training, ACHIEVE GOD and eventually become a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. 🙏💐 Do you have these decisions? 💐🙏 If you HAVE such determinations, in the END you will DEFINITELY ACHIEVE GOD, and you will be a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. You must UNDERSTAND that the main INSTRUCTION is to ACHIEVE GOD and be a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. I really love this so much! With all the cell phone videos and even in the live shows, with various positions and acoustics you don't get to hear quite so cleanly and clearly each part and how they fit together, but here it's just magic. And that growl at the start of Cape Cod Girls gets me every time right in the gut. This is well worth the watch even after hearing and watching the Sea Shanty Medley vid a zillion times.

When I went to a show of theirs, Tim said something along the lines of “I know what you all are thinking, how can we take these men home with us? Well we have CD’s at the merch table!” Made me laugh. Love that subtle acknowledgement that they know we find them attractive but also they’re married and we can’t have them lmao 😂

A long time ago I took my wife, daughter and her friend to see Elton John. I told my daughter to watch as the power of music captivated the crowd. We enjoyed the concert very much, but your medley was 10 times more powerful and more enjoyable. Sorry Elton! Sing on, God Bless.

WOW, took me back to the concert I was at last year. My Birthday present to my self. Oh and Tim Faust was so funny and he looks so handsome with his short natural colored hair. Hope they come close enough soon for me to go see them live again. Would love to go on the 2024 spring cruise if it is still in the plans.

Love this! I was teaching a group of nurses from Newfoundland and we went out to celebrate the end of class. Suddenly all the spoons disappeared from the table. They all started singing Sea Shanties with spoons and a cappella. The whole restaurant loved it! The manager came over and asked if they could come back next week. It was so nice to bring back that memory, love your versions too!

I can't believe I get the honor to say that my dad helped create this band when they first came to be. Literally he used to sing with Home Free in Louisiana then he built the band a Cadillac, which is the one seen in the "My Church" video, and sold it to them when he moved to Idaho. It's amazing how far you guys have come since my dad was a part of you guys. Proud of the progress! ❤ I'm about to be 21 by the way. Love y'alls music!! ❤

These guys are the most amazing! I just listened back to back to the old version and the new version of this and I think that final meld has got to be one of the most amazing pieces of vocal artistry ever! IMNSHO, of course!
