" I'm the world's greatest superhero."
The Boys is one of the best show currently on air and I highly recommend it to everyone. Such a fresh and interesting show. I took time to watch it and I regret not starting before. I decided to focus this video on Homelander as I believe he is one of the most promising character we have out there, brilliantly portrayed by Anthony Starr who deserves a massive recognization for this role. Hyped for the season 3!
Thank you everyone for the constant support and I hope this one will please you.

Especially in the first season, when he stands behind Deep, Hughie's baptism from Homelander or when he talks to Stan Edgar in season 2. Man, this show is awesome. Homelander really lands it. As the series progresses, however, he grow up more and more until revealing himself one of the most interesting and disturbing villains in recent years. This was better than everything I could ever imagine a homelander tribute being. You completely overdone yourself on this one. The atmosphere in the first part is way too fitting to be true. Showing his two faces with this song feels patriotic and haunting, mesmerizing to be sure. The second part I didn’t even know it was possible to make such an emotional tribute for him. I can’t believe how well you managed his scenes to create this. The construction between the dialogues and the clips is one of the best you’ve ever done. You fly above every The Boys tribute there is out there. You were right in point with this one. Absolutely breathtaking video, one of your best character studies ever. Left me in all states, shocked, speechless and mesmerized. Insane! 🤍

This character is ... profoundly intriguing to watch. He is vulnerable and terrifying at the same time - you understand why he is the way he is and the show allows you to feel that moment of "oh, ouch... that's so sad!" Without allowing you to forget what he's done and what he will do again. It's a very fine line to walk and it feels like they do it with such ease and grace that it almost looks easy, but it's not. It is not easy to make a villain this threatening and this scary, while still feeling human and three dimensional and still allowing your characters to one up them in believable ways. Maeve's coup at the end of Season 2 felt natural and well earned and it felt believable - turning Homelander's worst fear against him; the rejection of his fans. It makes sense and it works without feeling forced or heavy handed. It's been a long time since I watched a show that was this well written. I'm loving it.

"Strength is not power, they are similar yet they are vastly different. For even a strong man can be brought down, by those who hold power and the only weakness is knowing strength can never amount to power itself." Highlander in a nut shell, a victim of the society that everyone else believes is strength when it is our own greatest weakness. He was born, fatherless and had no family to guide him, he was used time and time again. 'Celebrity' is what this man was, not a hero and the heroes are employees of the system that made them so. I wasn't fazed by his so called descent into madness, this was the strongest hero in the world and it just showed, he had no power...to change what cannot be undone by playing their rules. Lesson learned, 'Heroes' don't exist, there are only villains painted by those who'd use power to do good, now ain't that a thought provoker?

Something that hit me when watching this, is that he's alot of our evils wrapped up into one character that's why he resonates so much partly as a character with people. Even alot of the things that might once of being thought as being good or desirable from the patriot aspect and the pro military stances he takes to his celebrity status and power, it's all so poisonous, and like you see it eat at him, but he fails to even realize this, which is also a reflection of us as a society failing to release the same thing, it's like he represents all that. Anthony Starr is bloody fantastic as many have said. And yeah what a great video on him, it's managed to help draw such thoughts or put them together if you will. Just fantastic all round. And there needs to be more shows like this, to reflect the times we live in.
