Hey man, I'm a soldier currently stationed overseas in korea from Tucson, Arizona. Lived there my entire life, I just gotta say I'm so glad I came upon this video in my recommended. I remember my days being on those streets, caught up on whatever drug I was on, hanging out with the other local homeless folks and it's a sad life we've all lived with everyone looking down on you. I'm so happy to see someone as nice as you being good to those on the streets. It is also pretty nice seeing my home again. God bless, hooah!

This is the type of charity where u know your money is going directly to those in need... Most of the big charity organizations have too many hands in the cookie jar. By the time everyone takes their hand full, theres very little left to give to those in need! Keep on keeping on Michael! I hope your caring ways starts a chain reaction across the nation!

@@america1403 After seeing firsthand the Red Cross response to hurricane Katrina, I’ll never donate another penny to any established charity except my local food bank, where I have volunteered, a Catholic soup kitchen in my city, and the Salvation Army. Most of my limited charity dollars I spend on direct charity. I just think it’s unfair that the IRS doesn’t allow a citizen to deduct sums spent of direct charity, yet if I gave my money to Benny Hinn that would be a valid deduction.

@@Oldman808 yep, I was gonna mention the salvation Army is the only large organization that i know who has a good reputation for helping the needy without all the CEO,s dipping their hands in it first to fund their private jets and vacation homes..the red cross is a part of the corrupt govt. Crooks! Just look at what the crooked Clinton's did to the poor people of Haiti with their Clinton Foundation. Collected millions and kept it..

I live in tucson and see these people almost everyday. It’s so hot now and I have no idea how to help. Nobody treats these people like actual humans. Thank you. Seriously. You don’t avoid talking about the fact that they are on the streets or doing drugs. You don’t see it as a character flaw. It’s just a fact of their life. Thank you for helping

It's a fact of their life that the majority of them choose. They choose to be homeless and lazy. Waiting for hand outs they whole time being completely able-bodied to work. And it's people this this dude who is enabling them so he can feel better about himself.... if he really wants to help them he should help them get jobs so they can support themselves. Bc when you enable these types of people they become extremely entitled. They disrespect public property and trash any spot they inhabit. It's disgusting.

They might not have a home but the majority that you claim "choose" this have more heart and soul than someone like yourself will ever have.. Your poor grammar and lack of empathy shows exactly the type of person you are. It's just no one wants to reply to you because you would be considered a waste of time.. So imagine that. All of these commenters commenting and you weren't even worth anyone's time. That should show you just how important your opinion is. I wouldn't wish homelessness on anyone but I can't help but feel that someone as ignorant as yourself would benefit from having to make the choices that MANY HAVE HAD TO. Your response was, truly, ignorant but I am also sure you don't care. Saying you live in Tucson doesn't make your silly comment any more valid.. I would guess that about 30% of his viewers are from Tucson and we all see the issue. If you had ANY sense whatsoever you would comprehend that this man feeding them is far from the issue and if no one was feeding them they would be stealing a LOT more or dying a lot more. I would much rather be homeless than HEARTless and you, my friend, are heartless and your words are invalid... As a former homeless person myself,I thank you for what you do.Wish you were around back in the mid 2000s but I'm kinda glad you weren't.I had to figure things out the hard way.By the grace of God I got a place to live.Been 14 years since then.Not everyone who is homeless a bad person,and the ones that don't act right,need help.I was one of those.If no one helped me out,I don't know where I'd be today.Thank you for what you do.Stay safe brother

I went downtown this past Monday, to see my GP to renew my many meds. (I'm a disabled senior.) I was checking things out as to what's changed. A woman comes up to me crying about how she's not feeling well & needs Tylenol, etc. Long story short I thought about homelessness (thanks to you & "invisible people".) & ended up parting with money (I'm low income) I suspect was used to buy the white powder or rock to smoke. So, I should know better. I'm just a kind person who cares for cats. People, not so much. I'm ultra sensitive so I don't choose to be around people very much. It disturbs my equilibrium. I see how you handle people asking for money; lesson learned. As always 💕 thanks for sharing !!!

@@goodnessinpeople It shouldn't happen again. My doctor is retiring & I've only seen one homeless person one x in my area. I'll not get taken again. In Canada we have no $1 or $2 bills. We have a coin $1=looney & $2 =tooney. (There's a lion bird on the back of these coins) so I'll not ever hand out money that I can't afford. I'm low income senior & I care for feral/homeless cats... that's plenty of cost, right there!!! PS CHECKING NIGHTLY FOR NEW VIDEOS MICHAEL!!! Perhaps you have to edit, etc. I understand none of this & I have no one to kind of guide or explain. I'd probably need a course to learn ... it's not funny as I feel disadvantaged as in disability.

being some one that use to be homeless, don't forget ALOT of people choose to be homeless. Unfortunately it took for me having to be institutionalized in the hospital +sadly being diagnosed with cancer. Sad to say as a struggling addict, it took something like a real life threatening diagnosis to straighten myself up. Turns out I truly want to live, not proud at all to say it took something like this to start the journey of me hopefully moving on a happier, healthier life. Best wishes to those out there homeless. Don't end up like I did, the outcome being Jails, Institution or Death. You really gotta mean it when you finally feel your ready. Think about that saying "I'm ready". I pray all you make it out okay, don't let it take something like what I went thru to straighten up your life. I'm still here to wish you all the best. take stuff one day at a time. For those who don't understand what it's like being an addict, I would give almost anything to be like you. God bless everyone.

I’ve lived in Tucson my whole life and the homeless situation hasn’t been this bad But when everybody started leaving states like California and moving to Arizona you saw more of what’s on this video now there’s more overcrowding it’s always so sad to see but the Synthetic opium and G got some of these people trapped people Don’t realize that Tucson and Phoenix are two of the biggest drug cities that supply most of the United States with drugs so the homeless always know where to get any amount they want as long as they have a little money

Yup, I’ve lived in Tucson for my entire life and yeah, the homeless numbers are rising. Sad to see, I wish I could do something like this but I simply don’t have the resources.

You’ve inspired me sir! I am the sole provider for my family of six, so I don’t have much to give. I’m up at 2-3 am every day here in Maine and I kept encountering this one man named Dana sitting alone, so now I seek him out at least Friday’s and Saturday’s. I give him a coffee, $3-5 and a couple of smokes. He’s always very gracious and all smiles but this morning he told me I’m enabling him... I’m not sure how to take that. I wish I could provide on your level. Your amazing.

WHat you do for people is just stunning, showing them humanity, kindness and respect, without judging them in any way. On you tube I see videos where people review a song on youtube and those people get like 800K views in a week and have like 3 million subscriptions. But what you do is 3 million times more important than any of 1000 of these people who review rock music or whatever type of music. I've watched like 10 of your videos today and I'm just stunned.

Thank you for NOT giving these people ANY MONEY because we ALL KNOW what they will use it for and we cannot in good faith, help them kill themselves. I saw no rudeness from that cop, who is just doing his job. Actually working overtime for extra income, from WM. That store, as many other WM's Targets, etc etc HAVE to hire private security to protect their paying customers, especially senior citizens, so they can walk to/from the store/pharmacy without worry of being hassled for money or outright robbed. 🙄😡

God bless you Michael, it looks like you have this down pat. You know exactly what folks are doing when they ask for money. I'm just now starting to figure out that it's not a good ideal to give floks more than 2 or 3 dollars. I also have a problem with some folks that will come right up to my car and start taking things before I can even get a bag filled up for them and then they say can you just loan me 10 dollars.. But I'm very new into doing this but. I am learning from you videos on what to do and what not to do. So thank you for that. Anyway I hope you have a good rest of your day.

Michael, from my perspective as a woman, I would suggest introducing yourself right away and perhaps state your purpose prior to asking their names and so many questions. I would avoid physical touch, including shaking hands. I would be uncomfortable with this and suspicious as to why a stranger is wanting all this information. You're doing a wonderful service.
