Yes, I’m a homeless 67-year-old grandma, I know what the claustrophobia is about😢 and change, so much change at once. I would be very grateful however, people deal with it differently. I’m sorry he is gone … Thank you for helping him that was amazing 🎉

Not leaving them alone, but spending more time in the day with them talking to them understanding where they're at in their lives, and seeing what's the best next step and position for them to go forward in. You have to see where their mentality is at.

If you came across as you knew what he needed and were trying to change him think how that would make you feel from a complete stranger. May I suggest you take Ryan Dowd’s homeless training and read the book Tent City Urbanism.

New Beginning! I think the transition was too fast for him. Food and clothes and a haircut he could manage, but next day dress up and get a job terrified him. Getting a job is hard for anyone, but for someone like him who has been so socially isolated and maligned probably gave him a panic attack. If there's a way to slow roll the change a bit, I would. Ask what kind of work he's done in the past, what he would like to do moving forward. Maybe get him a humble room over a hotel. You're an angel on earth and obviously care with all your heart...
