I had a known homeless cat do this with me after I moved to the neighborhood I would pet him and such, and one day I just hear this chirping meow and he comes bounding over and jumps on my leg. I walked home and he followed me home, when I left to go anywhere he was right beside me. He was both an indoor and outdoor cat until he died of old age in my home. RIP Bruce

😢that I know someone just deserted Bruce as most homeless cats fear humans and would not do this but so happy to know their are such caring loving people like urself that will help our furry friends in need and that u made him ur own showing him love with what he needs til the very end know that he appreciated this

Best cat I ever had was a stray. My girlfriend caught it and gifted it to me. I kept the cat for 14 years until it died. The girlfriend was another matter altogether.

My friends cat used to play with me when it was a kitten a lot since we were younger and hung out more. We stopped seeing each other cause of college and 5 years later I go over and sit down the cat just jumps on me and does the same. He still remembered me.

When I was 8 this random orange cat showed up in the neighborhood. He’d do the same thing, hug my leg and use his head to nudge my hand to pet him. I begged my parents for a week to keep him but they didn’t want him. We walked all over the neighborhood to every house asking if he was their cat. Nobody claimed him. On my dad’s birthday we fed him and dad said “well he’s ours now” about a year later we moved to a different neighborhood, more rural area. He lived his best life out there. Just over a year and a half ago he got too old. He wouldn’t eat, he wouldn’t go outside, he could hardly breathe. I took him on a drive to the old neighborhood where he found me before we went to the vet. Hope you’re resting easy haggrid 💜

As an owner (well, former owner; now he stays with mom and dad as a barn cat and is living his dream life), trust me when I say gray tabby cats like that are just Extremely Needy. We thought ours chose us when I was volunteering at the shelter and he kept reaching at my mom to be loved on. Wasn't long after we adopted him that we realized he would have done the same to Literally Anyone

This is pretty much how my girl was, but she wasn't a brown tabby, she was a "barn cat" (our word for a cat of mixed/unknown breed) with a lovely silver and grey coat with tabby pattern. With how she doubled in size during winter, we figured she had Norwegian Forest Cat in her.

There's a lot of stray cats in my neighborhood. They usually have really nice, clean, shiny fur as long as they haven't been in a fight with each other. Cats keep themselves very clean 😌

This kitty reminds me so much of one of our kitties!! Same colors and tabby pattern, and nuzzles hard into pets the same exact way, it's heartbreakingly adorable gahhhh. Only difference is ours is larger with much longer fur and a poofy tail, we think she's either half or a quarter Norwegian Forest Cat haha.

How the kitty is kneading your legs with his claws out so aggressively is a good indication that he hasn’t had petting & loving in a long time. When I found my tabby he did the same thing to me!

Not really a good indicator. We have dozens of cats in the complex I live in. They are outside, but can get inaide whwenever day feel like at rain, using garage doors. They also have a lot of spots with food,water etc that is filled every day. Anyways, they are very spoiled and used to being pet a lot. Atill, there is that one black cat that jumps onto me and hokds my leg every time I go out. She already messes up many of my pants. I doubt it is because she is not getting pet, for some reason she just does it to me every time, and won't release me for minutes, even if I walk, she just dangles on my leg 😅

Depends where they are. Strays are pretty low in population around my area which means not much food competition. I get some pretty fat strays in my neighborhood.

@@PugilistCactus same, also this neighborhood is mostly cat owners and they're pretty much all fed, I see them walking around all the time, though there's a huge dangerous street in my city and we literally live there so.. hope the cats don't sit in the road that often id cry if i saw a dead cat in our neighborhood, the road is always talked about because it's so bad for crime and accidents :/

When I was homeless I tended to some very beautiful cats out by the river. They were more wild and more free than most people. I miss them and that world sometimes.

Cat was not homeless …look at that cat . don’t ever take somebody’s cat. Cats will have multiple owners and go from different families and let different families feed them, but it doesn’t belong to all those people. It belongs to one person ….you don’t take it and put it in your house.

20 years ago I worked night shift at a nursing home. I’d go outside for a break and there was this big ‘ole cat hanging out by the dumpster and we became friends. My partner picked me up from work in the morning. I wanted to bring the cat home but he was not enthused. I shut the passenger door and as soon as we drove away this cat chased after our car as fast as any cat I’d ever seen. We stopped the car, he jumped inside, and he lived a happy life with us until he got sick and passed. RIP by beautiful Sandy.

I highly doubt he’s/ she’s abandoned. Probably an outdoor cat. They will roam around. I live on a small farm…. we have many outdoor cats who are well fed & cared for & unGodly friendly. Just like this one. Cats naturally roam around, they’ll check out the woods, climb trees, hunt for mice in the fields & pastures, but they always come home. It’s country. I swear this looks identical to my cat. No joke❣️ Acts the same way. Check out the tip of its ear. All my cats were spayed & neutered by the vet who works with the TIP’s program. The very tip of its ear will be clipped to show it’s been spayed or neutered. You pay what you’d like or make a donation. Run by a women who has volunteers helping to trap & pick up the cats. Takes them to & from the vet & then returns them back to the owners. Curious where this was taken (?) oddly this popped up in my feed(?)

In the 4 cats I've had, my tabby that I rescued from spca is the sweetest. She's the only tabby I've ever had and I swear they're different. I don't know if it's from being saved from the streets because she was just a little baby at the time but this cat gives me kisses and lays on my face to fall asleep with me. ❤ most lovable cat ever.

Judging by how well groomed and fed the cat looks and the fact it's socialized well with humans I'm guessing it's probably someone's inside outside cat. Could be wrong though, it's just best not to assume these things. Plenty of people have had their outdoor cats taken from them by people that thought they were homeless.

@@diffsnicker Thank you. This happened to my neighbors. Their cat is chipped, but they still couldn't find her 😢 If people take in a cat, bring them to a vet to have their chip read. So you make sure to not take someones outdoor cat.

I adopted three homeless cats... the first was thrown away because he was sick, the second was a victim of a hit and run, the third was thrown away because he had a very bad cold, thank goodness they are now healthy

I remembered a stray tabby cat whom I used to give food daily. She was soo calm and talkative. one day she were came on my leg just like the cat from this video. But I were screamed because my skin is soo sensitive for random touches. I don't know where she is I'm missing her soo much 😢 ✨💕
