Homemade Bugatti Chiron Sport from Honda Civic 2004 | Timelapse Build.

2 жыл бұрынAt the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the French automaker has launched an additional version of the Bugatti Chiron Sport with some improvements in the exterior as well as the performance with the factory price of up to 3.67 million USD.
This is a beautiful car, so we wanted to build a replica of it.
To save costs, we used many parts from the old 2004 Honda Civic.

The technical knowledge beyond any handyman can ever dream of doings. Thanks for sharing valuable video I learn so much from how you flatten from 3d surface for laser cutting and fabrication. I always want to build my own car and never thought of this building technique. You make my dream closer than I thought.👍

The design was spot on. The engine has a aggressive tone even from civic engine. The only thing they’re lacking is the safety feature on the design. Car is practically a live mock up. No safety structure that would protect driver and passenger from getting mangled in the event of collision. It’s a work in progress. I hope they will upgrade their focus on safety measures once they perfected the design.

I appreciate the idea behind this, couple things tho... 1- why did you not finish the car? 2- why would you not smooth out the welding points? 3- why would you use box-tube framing?

well yeah; when the vehicle is made from carbon fiber, and titanium with a monocoque chassis, made in a state of the art factory, you are able to shave a few pounds off. lolz. the point is so banal, i would have been embarrassed to even say it.

@@chrisgenovese8188 I know how the original is made and what it’s made of and I’m fully aware a (pretty well made) homemade replica made of sheet steel is gonna be nowhere near as light. I was just making a simple observation out of curiosity so maybe don’t go around so arrogantly trying to sound so smart. It makes you sound like an idiot attempting to prove otherwise

Pretty sure the thin steel tubes tack welded in place would go right though both the driver and passenger in an accident. Safety first please. Oh I forgot Vietnam has the highest motorcycle fatalities in the world so if your lucky you will hit a motorcycle not another car! Looks great though

Why did they even use a 2004 Honda body for when they built the whole rear and whole front might as well just build the whole car from scratch. I think I know why now they needed the Honda so they have a Vin number to make it street legal to drive and to register it
