Granola Bars Recipe:
In a saucepan on low heat, mix together
1/2 cup natural smooth peanut butter or 1/3 cup if using regular peanut butter like "JIF"
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp kosher salt
*Make sure that the mixture is still semi runny and does not clump together. If it does, add 1-2 tsp of oil to thin out.
In a bowl mix
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/3 cup chopped dried dates
1/3 cup chopped dried sour cherries
2 tbsp shredded coconut flakes
2 tbsp chia seeds
Then add the peanut butter mixture, mix in with the dry ingredients.
Pour out into a parchment lined 8x8 baking pan, press down firmly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350ºF until golden brown.
Let cool and cut into bars!

Check my description box for adjustments since depending on type of peanut butter it could affect consistency. To remedy, adjust the honey to 1/4 cup and make sure the mixture is smooth and kind of runny to hold everything together! Sorry I forgot to mention that in the video as I was using a super runny peanut butter and the measurements worked for me. I hope this helps!!

You deserve so much more subscribers because you put so much work & effort in your videos and I’m pretty sure the ingredients is not cheap either! I’m learning to eat more cleaner but I’m not as strict as I used to be...but I need to be more so I can lose more inches....Love this series! Glad I found your channel! 😍

I'm really enjoying this series, thank you for putting in so much effort! I would love to see a video about something that you can eat the day after eating unhealthy stuff (for example the day after a party or something), so like something that's not too heavy in your stomach and contains a lot of protein, to get back on track and make you feel more detoxed if that makes sense :)

Yay looking forward to what more you have in store! Also commented this on your insta but I made this earlier before I noticed the recipe changes and I must say just because it was crumbly didn't mean I couldn't use it! I stored in a container to eat as a granola topping for yogurt parfaits (which I had as my afternoon snack-yum!) Couldn't stop eating the bigger chunks themselves ;D xo

Hi!! Excited for you to try them!! I got feedback from some people it didn’t work for them either since peanut butter range in consistency. Mine was on the runny side so to remedy, use 1/4 cup honey to make sure it’s super runny. That should work! If still not smooth enough, add a tsp of oil.

I'd love some more health (but filling) lunch ideas. Due to food allergies, I do not have a meal plan at University and have to make everything myself and as I am trying to gain weight I want to do it in a healthy way that also fits my schedule. Most lunch meat and prepackaged things (all the convenient things) have corn or some kind of corn by-product which is one of the foods I'm allergic to and tomatoes are really common in a lot of foods. Most salads are out cause I can't eat lettuce. Anyway I'd love to see some of your lunch ideas and I will be making these granola bars for sure!

Loved the recipe!!! Breastfeeding sleep deprived mom here and trying to cut down on junk sugary foods🙈..so tough😩..a quick question if I soak the chia seeds and the use them ..will they affect the texture too much? I am assuming it will also help in binding and of course increase the nutritional value..
