Thanks much. As each usable component becomes refined enough to do so I'll make the designs freely available. The tool rack would be the first. It's just a router cut 3" strip of material (like MDF for example) , and uses 1/4" steel dowel pins and 3/8" compression springs. So you can make your own for less than $10 probably. With just that one part you can do semi-auto changes. The system would prompt you to tighten/loosen the collet nut only. It would auto get/put the right tools and measure the offsets. It's a lot more useful than it sounds for what you put into it. Human error like loading the wrong tool, messing up the tool offset measurement or coordinate system -- all that stuff goes away. I had a lot of workpiece (and machine time) waste from human error. So the time saved was not so much about tool changing, but in lowering program failure rate.
