To build our CNC Mill we needed to create molds for the epoxy granite. To do so we built this 5x10 foot CNC router, and it works beautifully.

You don't have to keep your videos that short to be entertaining. I'd love to see more details of the build and what solutions you came up with. For example, what components did you use and what was your experience with it? What about the exhaust system? Nevertheless, happy to have found your channel

Thanks Harvey. Im new to this KZfaq gig and assumed people would want a shorter video. turns out I was wrong since everyone is asking for longer more detailed videos of my machines, so I promise to follow up with a second video including the CAD deigns and BOM/supplier list for all the machines. I hope you enjoyed the videos otherwise, and ask that you help me share in the meanwhile as I build my next set of machines 😊.

@@ActionBOX in my noob opinion, short video = more views. Detailed video = less views, more engaged viewer, who would be willing to support via patreon, buying plans, etc. But yeah everyone that asks will be asking details for their own project build plan. btw the giant CNC milling machine is insane. Appreciate the share and edits!

@@ActionBOX What you should do is one video as an overview, and a second video with the detailed build. Not only will you get two videos (more money) but also when people click multiple videos on your channel you get more view draw. The King of Random used this technique on his later videos before he died.

Could your design be modified to run on an existing workbench with a steel frame? Guide rails on each side fitted to the main structure. @@ActionBOX thanks bro. But j was asking for the video on your first mill you made before this cnc mill. I have seen this video and you have spoken about cnc mill using which you have drilled holes on plates. I believe this cnc mill you used for doing experiments with wire edm.

what the difference between a cnc mill and router. the router looked way easier than the mill
@ActionBOX
@ActionBOX 2 жыл бұрын
The mill is far more stiff so it can cut harder materials. A router isn’t really great for anything harder than aluminum. Plus milking machine spindles are generally much slower than routers as harder materials require more torque and lower rpm (feel free to read up on SFM). Hope that helps. Cheers, Dave
