You are the only one that has the correct way of producing the condensed milk,the method you are using is very logical, you boil the milk to remove some of the water make it thicker then put the other ingredients,thats perfect. Other names of Baking Soda are : Soda- bi-carb (Soda bicarbonate). Cooking Soda. On this recipe you used 1/8 th teaspoon ( a pinch of Baking Soda). And in our city it is also known as Meetha Soda.
