Hey yall, today I tried something simple and new. I made some cornbread from scratch and it was pretty moist and good. Recipe below if you’d like to try it also:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup of neutral oil (I used vegetable shortening because I didn’t have cooking oil)
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
1 cup of milk
* Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 mins.
*Add butter and honey on top once completed.
