This is my attempt to explain in detail and in a much clearer video on how I made this stairlift for my Mother-in-law who suffers from muscle distrophy. Stairlifts in the Philippines cost an arm and a leg, this prompted me to create one instead. Since uploading the video in Jan. 2010, I have been receiving emails from interested people asking me for a much brighter video. I apologize for taking this long. I couldn't access my old YT channel anymore. Anyway, here it is. I hope you get some ideas from this and make some modifications. This works for us, since I am semi retired and can conduct frequent and daily inspections on the unit and system, but if you ask me, it would be a lot safer to add a second cable. Thanks.
