Purchased a Rave 2 from AmeriGlide and it would not function. It took about 30 days to get it operational. AmeriGlide refused to reimburse me for the repair shop charges. I could not recommend this company because of their lack of support. They will bend over backwards to deny warranty responsibility.

hi I wanted to know that if this mechanism can stop at any point in between the whole journey?? What if a power cut occurs?
@alexarvey17 жыл бұрын
pranav mahajan Hi Pranav! Yes. The winch itself has its own gearlock. Even if there is a power outtage, it wont free fall because the gears lock themselves going down. I tried pulling it, it doesn't budge. If you're planning to purchase a winch, try pulling the cable, if it turns, don't buy it. ask the retailer also just to be sure. All winches are suppose to have this safety feature. Thanks for watching and commenting. Be well.

Can you tell me some more about this winch with the "gear lock" please?

TriniFirst Hi Trinni! I'm not an expert in this matter. I just did some researching before i applied it. Try visiting machinedesign.com, they explain how winches use worm gears and how they lock. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi Kevin h! I received your email. The wheels you are referring to are called casters. I think you can buy them in your local hardwares there? Casters with indents for angle irons. Just tell the store you are looking for casters that will ride on angle iron. I'm not sure what you mean by the 2 x 4's being run on the table saw? Please elaborate. Thanks.

Thank you Moolus. Need to refinish it, though. It's been 6 years since I first installed it.
