Bobby you should get a game viper express air shotgun it is a .22 cal pellet gun which is good and it shoots shot shells which I have killed doves with flying it is a single shot but I love it please do some research on it

To get starlings to come in just find a nest of any native bird and wait for the starlings to knock the eggs out and be complete a-holes. Great vid Bob

Putting up the dead ones you shoot works pretty good, I shoot starlings all summer long on farms and I usually put up a few cardboard cut outs to decoy a few then I pick them all up and put them out belly down in a spread and the more you shoot the bigger it gets, what makes it even better is if you get ahold of some bamboo skewers and it's a little graphic but stick them on skewers and stick it in the ground then they bounce around in the breeze they look like their actually standing

Ive had the best luck in the winter with snow cover . Makes the birds come even more for feed. Cant wait to try your decoy method

Another idea I use for decoys is cut up a trash bag and put little stakes through them and set them up in big spreads. Each decoy only has to be about 5 inches long in little strips it works wonders

Love the Gamo barrel break for the price. Scope works. Have plunked four collared doves and two starlings today from the kitchen window. Farthest was ~40 yards.

We shoot starlings at a dairy in Oregon. We use 28ga and many times we have shot two flats per shooter. You would love the 28, it performs way beyond what it should. Stars are nice because they usually fly level, they are free. We use decoys, but blackbirds are what usually comes to them. Bonus collared doves come in for the feed corn and a few feral pigeons.

Bobby, the gamo air rifle are great for the price. They are accurate and powerful. I like the .177cal I hunt everything from rock dove to coyotes with it. The only complaint I have is most of them are very picky with pellets. Your best bet is to buy several different brands, weights, styles such as standard pointed, flat points, hollow points, copper, the lightweight PBA pellets etc

Try the Umarex Gauntlet in .22 cal it’s a good pcp rifle that is regulated and can provide great accuracy at medium and long distance like 50 or 75 yards it’s only $299 plus s&h or get it with the combo which I believe is that it comes with a hawke scope

Cool stuff guys! I shoot starlings on dairies out in California and use several types of PCP air rifles, but the Gauntlet in .22 would be a good choice. It's starts off around 300 bucks. It's accurate and will Do a good enough job for ya!

@@BobbyGuyFilms Of course there are much better air rifle, but for the price point and all the options that come with the rifle it's hard to beat for the money your putting down. I was just shooting mine ony property and it's an accurate rifle. Mine likes the h&n copper coated 14 grain field target trophy pellets. Happy shopping brother!

Gamo makes a good PCP in the Urban but my question is how far are you shooting ? Also what’s ur price point ?? I have a few that are budget guns but accurate that I would suggest but price is the key

Im sure others have mentioned Airforce air rifles.. they are awesome but not exactly starter $$$.... for a inexpensive " starter " for trying out PCP air rifles you might want to check out the Umarex Gauntlet. Since the Gamo you mentioned is very new I think the Umarex will already have more available upgrades should you choose to " pimp your ride ". Be sure to try a number of different manufacturers pellets and different pellet weights because finding the " prime " pellet will make a huge difference in accuracy.

100% agreement. Airforce have a million options for a tweakfest. Benjamin Marauder is also a very accurate entry level PCP rifle, but like anything else it is a compromise as air capacity is low. PCP rifles are precision tools, very capable at ranges that will impress and addictive. Don't skimp on a scope either. I like 4-16X or 5-20X. Again, a precision instrument. Every gun has a favorite pellet it seems. I went through 8 different types before settling on Predator Polymag for my purposes. Also leaves a nice clean hole in paper. PCPs can be very effective hunting tools.

Hey bobby as far as i know walmart does not sell pcp airguns they sel spring and nitrogen powered air guns though. Go to pyramidair and look at the pcp airguns they have. I would not recommend any airgun from walmart. You can get a whole pcp setup on pyramid air for under $300 and it wont break in a few months and will be much more accurate than a break barrel. The only spring powered airgun i will recommend is the browning underlever. Very very accurate and consistent. These starling videos are cool and different keep the vids comin
