Hi Bobby, In order to get him to stay when teaching him to fetch you need to collar him and hold his collar or leash him in place then tell him to stay and throw the ball and or bumper then release him on his name (Fred) and say fetch. Slowly but surely you can lose the collar and leash as he gets older and learns the game he will stay and only retrieve when you say his name. I also say "Mark" before i throw the ball and when I'm in the blind and it been awhile i say "Mark" my dog knows its about to go down!!

Bobby have a go with this starling recipe: A recipe from Calvin Schwabe's book "Unmentionable Cuisine.": Starling stew with olives, from Turkey where it's known as "Karatavuk yahnisi." "Fry some chopped turnips and carrots. Add a little stock and a glass of red wine. Place some starlings or other small birds in the pan. Add a thin purée of boiled potatoes mashed with beaten eggs, dry mustard, and some stock and a little beer. Cover with stock and cook for about 30 minutes, adding some ripe olives near the end."

When I lived in Italy I hunted for, killed, and cooked lots of starlings. But there they eat grapes and olives, and these foods give them a much better flavor than the flavor of the garbage-eating starlings that infest dairy farms in the U.S.. I did not skin them, but plucked them instead, cut off their heads and feet, eviscerated them, placed some sage and a piece of bay leaf in the body cavity, wrapped each bird in "pancetta" (kind of like bacon) and cooked them slowly on a spit. I ate almost the whole bird, spitting out the bigger bones. I liked them a lot, but not as much as thrush, that are much less gamy and much more tender. Usually thrush, skylarks, European blackbirds and starlings ended up together on the spit. In those days even finches were considered gamebirds, and I can assure that they are delicious!

Bobby, I just got back from Florida a couple of weeks ago and bought the hero 7 specifically for the trip, the stabilization on it was perfect for the videos I took in the ocean riding some waves! I will definitely be using it in the future for hunts myself!

Hey Bobby one thing I was told about training my dog was that while training use the rubber ducks/geese or real birds. And for play time use bumpers or balls that way he knows when its time to work and time to play. Using the ducks and all use your commands and with the balls and bumpers just let him play.

I have a go pro hero 7 black. I would recommend it personally. The stabilization has worked great with me when we ride fourwheelers, and its shoots great footage in 4k. I have no complaints.

Bobby you need to try this recipe that I use for fish,you take Frank's red hot sauce cover the fish with it then take nacho dortios and crunch them up then cover fish with crumbs and pan fry it sounds gross but it's crazy good

When teaching him to stay when you throw it. Buy a choke collar. Put that on him with a long rope Have him sit by your side tell him to sit. Throw the ball and if he trys to run just stop him and give him a little tug. Dont choke the crap out of him just make it uncomfortable for him. Within 10 minutes he will no long run off until you call him off to get the ball/bird

I am sixteen I have a chocolate lab that I have trained her to be my duck from start to finish and on thing I have learned from training her for the last year and a half is when u first get the dog for a few months don’t take the ball or bumper away when he brings it to u just love him up eventually take it from him but let him run and have fun with it. Let him acquire drive. Another thing Is my dog would also drop it I did not personally agree with the full force fetch thing but I did do some i did not use the shock collar or ear pinch I did make a stand my hight and had two post going up next to it with a rope tied between the two and tied her in the center and held her mouth shut for just a few seconds at a time with the bumper in her mouth saying hold and now she has yet to drop a duck or bumper. U may already know this stuff but if not just a few things I have learned over the last year and a half. Trust me I am no expert By any means just a few things I have learned. Hey Bobby when training your young dog don’t make it like training this young I wouldn’t focus on having him sit before every retrieve this young while it is good habbit this young being to stern can ruin the fun for the dog, what I recommend is just heading out and throwin the ball with him give him a lot of praise when he brings it back reward the good small things as he gets older start implementing sitting before retrieves and different commands. Bottom line make it fun make it a game don’t do to much to where he gets bored if you notice he starts to get bored or not interested stop then training you want no negatives when training. I’d say 15-20 minutes a day is plenty. Hope this helps👍🏼

I think you should get into some bowfishing it's not expensive all you need is a old bow you could use KZfaq different ways to put reels on the bow and go to your local Outdoor Store for some arrows

My setup that I made with a super cheap fiberglass bow and a hand reel ran me like 75 bucks and 5 bucks for the drive way marker and sheet metal for the arrow

You need to bow fish those flood waters then do a catch n cook vid. Ive been mixing 50/50 flour and instant potatoes for my dredge. Season the meat, egg then the dredge. Good on you for eating what you shoot.

Joey Macedo, I love it!! It’s light, super smooth action, can fire up to 3 1/2 inch shells, it comes with 4 chokes and a choke wrench, the owners manual is very well put together and very helpful when it comes to installing the barrel and what to use and what not to use with the different chokes. While talking about the barrel, it is super easy to install. Overall, it’s a great shotgun for the price and will definitely work for a beginner or anyone who wants a Stoeger !

I'm going to do my first starling hunt I was was just going to try some federal clay and field 2 3/4 loads with my beretta a300, was going to start with a modified, but I don't want to have them explode so depending on how it goes I might also try improved cylinder or for long's shots. Full choke
