I wrote out the recipe and instructions Swedish Easter bread 2-1/2 tsp of yeast 1/4 cup of warm water in bowl Wait for it to get foamy In sauce pan warm a cup of milk and half a cup of butter and melt the butter in the milk Pour into yeast Add a cup of white sugar Add a half a tsp of salt Half a tsp of cinnamon A 1/4 tsp nutmeg Add one egg then stir And 3-1/2 cups of flour keep another 1/2 cup on reserve to add if needed Stir Knead for seven-ten minutes Let raise in a greased bowl covered in a clean tea towel for an hour After its raised knead for about a minute Cut dough in half Roll out one of the sections and divide into thirds Roll into ropes and braid Place both finished braids on cookie sheet and cover with a tea towel and let raise for 45 minutes Prepare egg wash... Isn’t this actually known as Swedish Cardamom Coffee Bread? I’ve never seen it with nutmeg and cinnamon. It looks so yummy! Great instruction. I’m looking for a neighbor gift for Christmas and my family is very Swedish thanks so much!

Looks really good. I like your recipe with lots of milk 🥛. I’m gonna also include a little of my sourdough. I like your recipe for another reason... you didn’t cheat using a Kitchen-Aid mixer. I think especially with traditional breads like Easter Breads, using a little elbow grease... hand work really, doing it with what God gave us is the best. Very clear instructions too. WELL DONE 👍🏻

Ohh, I love this bread. Mom use to make them, but any time of the year. I like to make ½ inch slices and dunk them in cold Coca Cola. Try that! ^^

In the big outside world bakers are not normally allowed to have uncut fingernails.. plus a recipe somewhere would be helpful?
