Build BBQ Rotating Mechanism

In this video I show the process of manufacturing a rotating mechanism for my BBQ that I previously made from a water boiler.
For the motor I decided to use a cordless drill. That was a new experience for me and I have encountered many difficulties in this project, such as cutting gears. After mounting I didn't expect they will spin, but the abrasive grease helped, everything worked! Fire testing also went smoothly.

@@homemadeinlviv8041, і за це Вам велике спасибі. Вибачте, що повчаю, але все ж таки поміняйте шуруповерт на двигунчик з редуктором. На Торпедо цього мотлоху навалом. Шкода інструменту, та й вигляд якийсь тимчасовий, не закінчений.

You're absolutely right! A bike chain with a bike gear will do the job more easily. One more thing a mechanism like this can never be carried out at home

I saw the makita drill appeared to be the motor mechanism. Something that suggested a quick fix solution to the problem of what to use as a motor. But after the washers are brought into the shop I became aware that this was not going to be a simple DIY to set up the devise I’m hoping to use today with very little effort. Next after the division lines of the washer further perplexed my hopes for quick and easy. Bust out the CNC machine to make gears and it’s clearly becoming a Henry Ford assembly line project to mass produce a pile of puny piggies or fowl. Great idea. But I’m going to watch the build because I love clever, but not when I’m wanting something asap and basic. The wheel is already working, not planning to make it better. You can work on that clearly better than I can. 😂

Я б захистив шестерні, щоб зненацька ні хто пальця не встромив, та і шуруповерт замінив би на єлектро двигун з регулятором обертів. А так, як завжди шикарна доробка. Лайк!
