Goodmorning Moore family. Hope ya'll had a great 4th of July. Great ideas. When I was a kid and as a teenager, I had Lifepac. When my parents and I moved to Midland, Texas there a school of tomorrow curriculum. I do some on the computer with switch on schoolhouse. And there's schoolhouse rock that I watch.

We do all about spelling with my son who struggles with focus and reading and it's helped a lot. He's in level 5 next year.

You're going to enjoy reading The Heartwood Hotel with your children. I read it with my children and we enjoyed it. I want to purchase the sequels. We also like Anna Hibiscus. Enjoy your school year. I look forward to seeing how the girls and boys enjoy their new curriculum this school year.

We always love watching your book shark unboxing. We are trying a new curriculum this year and considering book shark all subject package vs. individual purchased curriculums. Also, our oldest daughter really looks up to Jireh 🤗

My mom homeschooled me and my siblings many years ago. I bet should would loved having complete system like this....lol I probably would have too. 😅 we changed my reading program so much to find the right one.

To be honest I really do think your kids benefit more this way than going through the public school system in the us. I also like that you teach them two ways of thinking: the biblical and the scientific way. Some religious people keep such information from their kids but it’s very important to know science and also get taught about your bodily functions right. It feels like you are dealing with that very maturely and I like that

I love it!! We will be doing this but I had a question how do you feel about math with confidence vs math u see? Also do you think the LA/ writing is good with Bookshark or should I supplement here and there with all about reading ?! Thank you !! Also I see science is nice with masterbooks as well so many choices 😂😭 but love how we can expand so switch whenever

My wife and I are homeschooling our daughter and we have been looking into BookShark curriculum. We have also looked into Sonlight Christian Curriculum as well. They look practically identical with their textbooks and reading books, but they talk about God which is really cool. So I was wondering if you have checked them out or not. I gre up with Sonlight, it is a great curriculum... we use Bookshark, and still talk about God and teach our faith alongside Bookshark's curriculum. Both are good option, just depends if you want a faith curriculum laid out for you or if you prefer to tailor that yourself.

Does this curriculum talk about millions of years ago, and other gods? Because it looks pretty good. Especially if you add your own Bible

@@danahall1282 Both curriculums do at times use books which will mention both of these. As a homeschooler, you can either omit or discuss these sections. Our mom read things with us and we discussed thing for hours from different perspectives. One of the best things about hoemschooling in my opinion is the opportunity to walk though diverse positions together with uour kids and discuss the reason for your own stand on things. Neither cirriculum teaches evolution, but it does appear in some of the science text they use, though briefly. Also does discuss world religions as well. I think that is a plus, and opens up meaninful conversation.

Are the “binders” only if you have multiple students? I didn’t receive a binder😊

The binder should come with the “All-Subject Package” or the “Reading with History” package. If you just ordered for example Language Arts instructors guide, it wouldn’t come with a binder. You can order a binder separately: www.bookshark.com/d-ring-3-inch-binder-with-tabs Hope this helps!💛

Yes! BookShark sells all their books separately. I've heard really good things about the All About Spelling book, it will be our first year trying it!
