@@EvanMoon Yeah we used to meet with local families for "homeschool group" twice a week and go to the pool or play sports, or go bowling, so it definitely could happen. I met one of my best lifelong friends that way.

This guy is hilarious. I have heard some of the jokes before, but his delivery is wonderful. About inheritances, I convinced my father during a bout of dementia to leave everything to me. Unfortunately, he thinks that I am my brother Bob.

I saw Basile at a Radience of the seas cruise, he was the funniest and sweetest guy ever! We even knocked into eachother at the Airport after, a great guy. Bless you Basile,

Regarding Warhol's "Soup Cans," how "Art" is understood and experienced is a complex dance between esthetic beauty to be marveled at, entranced by, and art that provokes, makes us think and ponder, produces emotions, generates discussion. Warhol's Soup Can is an extreme example where the latter is the sole purpose because the piece is devoid of the former. It is the banality of the soup can that provokes us to thinking that this is what our lives have become, this is what we are surrounded with: not aesthetic beauty, but marketing. It's not a picture celebrating human connection, not a loving family sitting down to a nutritious, delicious home-cooked meal, it is a mass-produced, cheap can of soup. The "art" of Warhol, the genius, is producing art that flies in the face of what most of society considers "art," pieces that aren't aesthetically beautiful or pleasing. People who see Warhol's work nearly always have a visceral reaction to it, we feel insulted and think, "THIS is art?!" Warhol's work is a savage critique of modern life, one whose value and meaning is incapsulated by a 53-cent supermarket soup can. To be clear, while I appreciate and even agree with Warhol's message that modern life is banal, every day a slog of degradation and meaningless humiliation, I don't enjoy being reminded of this. Who does? No, I would much rather surround myself with art that inspires, emphasizes the positive, celebrates the beauty of life and nature. After a long life, I will take blissful ignorance over harsh reality, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel over a can of cheap, mass-marketed soup. .

To Dry Bar Comedy Where is the donate to Basile button? I very much enjoyed the show and want to tip. To Basile From a Sienfield episode with the soup Nazi, “no soup for you”. How about a “no gyro for you”? I did enjoy the couple around 18:00, no masks and having a great time.

Grumpy Old Guy....I see why your "name" is what it is. My mother, who is in a better place, was one of the most beautiful people ever....and good looking, to boot.
