Joe’s really stepped up his lunch game! When I was working at Glaser he would bring turkey neck soup in a recycled cottage cheese container 😆

Hey man, I’m not much for commenting but suddenly feel a bit compelled. We’re getting to witness an exceptional guitar talent, working (making money that is, there are a lot of guitar talent that don’t), working at a very high level, in the world of professional musicians. There’s nothing else like this on KZfaq or anywhere. And I might add that watching Larry, near the peak of his powers, is really fun to watch. Oh, and how much is he charging? ZERO! You’ve got to be commended sir. I hope you’re getting as much out of this as your followers are. Thanks so much, and always looking forward to the next video.

Nobody's doing backstage stuff because they haven't reached that level of success and never will. Most of the other guitar channels are just guys waiting for gear to come to their door. So so boring.

@@stringlocker Tommy’s coming from a place of authenticity re gear. He’s probably used just about everything and had 2nd gear for a while. He doesn’t need to schill for manufacturers- if he uses it he’s pretty straight about his experience

Man my life is such a depressing mess I would give anything to just spend a few hours with a guy like you on guitar safari and then a burger and maybe a little playing. I used to own a music store years ago and do that with my buddy and business partner every few weeks. Times are very tough now. Sold the store. My buddy died of cancer at 42. I still play everyday for a few minutes. Build amps, pedals and wind my own pickups just for myself. But I'm always alone now. Your videos sooth my musical soul. It's amazing how much you can take something for granted. Thanks Uncle Larry. I appreciate you man. I really appreciate you........

It's so cool living in Nashville and being able to bring my guitars to Glasers, where the stars get their work done (I can barely play guitar). The guys are all so nice - Nick treats nobodies like me just as nicely as he does Tom. And Joe will pull you into random interesting discussions from time to time. Just the best guys around.

Joe is such an awesome guy! I’m a nobody from muscle Shoals Alabama and the first time I brought a guitar to get plek’d, Joe took the time to introduce himself and showed me the plek machine and how it works. Carried on a convo for a good 15-20min. Would have thought I was Tom Bukovac walking in there! Says alot about the guy.

In the early 1990s i somehow got Joe’s phone number - this was pre internet. I called him from California for some replacement pickup advice. He spent at least 20 mins on the phone with me (an unknown, non-customer) trying to figure out what I was looking for. Finally we decided on a Barden Danny Gatton tele pickup. I asked about return policy if I needed to. He said ‘hey I’ll just send it for you to try. If you like it pay me.’ No cc deposit, just shipped it to me. Obviously I’ve never forgotten his kindness, knowledge and excellent customer service.

Joe put one of his benders into my Tele a while back. I was only in town for the day and he did the whole thing in a few hours for me. He gave me and my pals a tour of the place and treated us like we were "somebodies" which we weren't/aren't. He's top notch in my book. And my friend Chris Tapp says Nick is the best setup man in Nashville. Thanks for sharing!
