True story...I had eczema my entire life, a small patch on one shin and two huge patches on both ankles wrapping one third of the way around. It was always active, drove me nuts. Well, I got pregnant and it completely disappeared!!! It has never returned. I have scars and that's it. Crazy. So maybe eczema is a hormone issue at its core, I'm not sure.

This is a bit off subject but I love your T-shirt. They’re on sale right now at Walmart here in Las Cruces New Mexico. I thought that was kind of ironic since you’re in Maine way up north and I am way south west, on the Mexican border. And we both have the same T-shirt! Love your channel of all that you do! Stay safe out there

Dear Jinne, thanks for sharing what works for you, it's very interesting and informative. At one point I considered experimenting with oatmeal, but decided against it since I'm sensitive to gluten and used Oatmeal brand skin products in my teens (when I had trouble with pimples), and it wasn't ideal. I've had eczema for about ten years now. It started on my neck and then spread over my face as well. My neck and jawline have always been worst affected, but other parts where it was particularly inflamed were my eyebrows. Curiously, the inflamed areas in some parts of my face weren't constantly inflamed, the inflammation seemed to move from place to place -- for example, the skin around my eyes were puffy and itchy for a short while, but then the inflammation there subsided, never to return again. The itchiness was hard to bear, but I didn't want to use cortisone cream, since I'd read that it thins skin, especially over the longer term. So I had to find a way to relieve the itching by pressing the itchy parts with a blunt object. I read that one man used chopsticks to relieve itching -- I used something much smaller. At night it was more difficult though. When my life became less stressful, the eczema wasn't as severe. What helped a lot was that I used a homemade ointment made from natural beeswax, base oils and essential oils. It didn't solve the problem, but it helped to keep my skin moisturized. I experimented with a variety of essential oils. For a long time I used a combination of olive oil and jojoba oil as base oils, but recently I tried argan oil and found that it's better than olive oil. I don't know if perhaps it has better penetration into the skin. My recipe is one part melted beeswax, more than a third jojoba oil, and less than a third argan oil. To make a thinner, softer ointment, I could add more jojoba. That is because the jojoba acts as a preservative when at least a third of the mixture is jojoba oil. Thankfully it's cheaper here since it's produced in our country. With enough jojoba in the mixture I don't need to keep the ointment cooled to prevent it from going rancid. That's the main reason why I use it. Recently I used jojoba oil infused with calendula for a new ointment mixture, and added the essential oils Helichrysum and German chamomile. It's the first time that I used dried calendula flower petals this way (for a cold infusion), and also the first time I used Helichrysum essential oil in an ointment. I was very surprised and grateful when my eczema inflammation completely disappeared. Since then there's been an emotionally stressful event, and a little bit of itching started up again on my neck, but the visible eczema (the redness and flakiness) is basically gone. Before, there had been some residual flakiness particularly along my hairline and at my eyebrows, but that's no longer there. So the Helichrysum (and perhaps the calendula as well) has made a big difference. I've read that Helichrysum is also good for acne and wound healing, amongst other things. It's supposed to be effective against inflammation. I won't be surprised if I still experience eczema flare-ups, but I'm very grateful and relieved that I've found something that's making such a big difference. Wishing you all the best Jinne, thank you for all your videos. God bless and keep you.

It looks great! Oat has differently calming, soothing effect on skin. But be careful with essential oils. Even though you used the ones that are recommended for eczema, they are very potent and strong, they can often make a the skin condition worse. Usually i go scent-less.

That's excellent Jinne. There's definitely something good in the Oats. My Nephew had Eczema & his Mum used to put Oats in a Muslin bag & tie it to the bath tap, so it soaked into the bath water, it really helped him. TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶

I had eczema really bad for years. During the covid experience, I got off of 8 prescription medications (very slowly and without any ugly experiences). Staying home facilitated this and also helped with stress reduction. I now have zero eczema. Just a thought to look into any medications that you're on to see if they are the cause. Thank you for the video 😁

Thank you for the video. Just FYI, eczema is not necessarily a sucking condition. It can also be caused by unbalanced microbiome. So if the probiotics are missing or out of balance in your stomach or any parts of yr digestive system, it could show up as eczema.

Remember Eczema describes the symptoms, not the cause. lt can have a variety of causes from dry skin, tactile sensitivities (textures of fabrics, etc.), skin allergies, and anything else that can affect skin health like vitamins or hormonal changes. If you can figure out what is what factors are causing flare ups, then it is a lot easier to treat. Most doctors will just try to get you relief from your symptoms which doesn't help you manage things in the long run.

Truth. Eczema is a gut issue, not a skin issue. I learned this a couple of years ago. So, in my research, started taking vitamin D3, 10,000 units, combined with Vit K-2, two units. Took this every day for two weeks. Then started once a week. No issues since. When I do have slight breakout, just take the supplement, and usually gone within 24 hours. But love this idea of a wonderful cream. Thank you ❤❤❤❤

Hi I have psoriasis and I know it is a gut issue. I am going to make this cream, it sounds so soothing!! I also want to try the vitamins d3 and k2. I have the vitamin d3 but I am looking for the k2 not sure how much you said to take though! When you say k2 two units, 2 of the 90 mcg, is that what you mean or did you find a bigger dose and took more per day??
