33 years ago, a close family friend was cutting up some dead trees in our woods behind our house. While using his chainsaw to cut it into manageable pieces, the chain broke and it hit him on the right side of his forehead. It took a good chunk out but he stayed calm and used his flannel shirt to put pressure on the wound and slow the bleeding. He was over 1/4 of a mile from our house in a deep hollow. My mom was in the garden picking tomatoes and saw him walk out of our woods drenched in blood and staggering. She said she just froze because she couldn't process what she was seeing....but she did go running to him while screaming for help from me and my cousin. We were in the barn repairing one of the doors. There's just a certain sound in your voice when something horrible happens and we definitely picked up on that. We ended up getting him to the nearest Dr which was 15 miles away in our farm truck going 90+, honking the horn and flashing our lights. The Dr's office immediately called for an ambulance and managed to keep him from bleeding to death. He survived and had over 200 stitches in his head. Old farmers are tough as nails!! This guy was in his 60's when this happened.

This appears to be an accident on montpelier road in Forsyth Georgia a 61 year old man splitting wood got an accidental self inflicted axe wound to his face and unfortunately died from blood loss in his front yard. Rolling down the hill looked staged, the hill was not that steep. Also, an aging person could not put on a blue cover that efficently and that quickly. This person walks like he has bad knees, but me and my Husband both have bad knees and there is no way that we could crouch down and then stand straight back up like he did repeatedly. We fall frequently and we don't just start rolling and then flail around on the ground like that and he stays in the view of the camera, doing senseless things, like knocking wood off the wood piles. It's someone who is playing a joke.

I think this is my son Roman! This was on Wormies land in the backwaters. I have been looking for Roman and Katie for 5+ years now.

We lived on a 90 acre plot of land, my father slowly developed senile dementia, nevertheless my brother allowed him to walk through the woods and creeks that ran through the farmland. The exercise kept him fit and helped with his arthritis.

I don't know anyone of any age who would stack the wood that far from where they need to use it. Ok, storing it there. But moving it closer when needed. Speaking from experience when I was a young lad, my grandfather would have me move 7 cords of wood up to the back of the house. He would give me 20 bucks, which back then was a lot of money... LOL! At least to a 14 year old kid. It was literally 3 feet from the door, covered so it would not be wet from snow. He was 70 years old and he had no intentions of walking that far for firewood.
