Awsome. Iam going to be doing that as well as the star of david and i also did the angel. Cant wait to emblish with the lights and stuff. Snow flakes and other ornaments and some floral pics and some glitter.

I like the pipe cleaner better because if you have limited storage like me, it would be nice to take it apart after winter!

I use plastic hangers to wrap all my Christmas lights on! If you wrap lights in a figure 8 pattern and to end, the lights will very easily come off next year! It really saves time and dealing with tangled lights!

Very cute and easy too! Plus with an added hanger, you can also hang it like a wreath.

A fantastic idea I love it I just love it... one of the commenters mention adding Christmas lights that's not bad at all wow I'm blown away such a simple cheap easy project with my girls. I think I'm going to try this in a different color hehe. Thanks again for sharing

Try parchment paper instead of wax paper. I tried wax paper and the glue melted the wax and stuck to what was left.

Why didn't you use small white zip ties? Would have been more stable

Too square. Add 8 more on top, so the second set hanger points goes across the hanger hook parts. 8 pointed star now looks more like a snow flake.
