In old Edinburgh Deacon Brodie was a well respected pillar of the community. A buisnessman, a master craftsman and a member of the town council. But this was all a facade, hiding his nighly criminal behaviour. Deacon Brodie serves as a important reminder of why we should never judge by appearances.
