Hommage à Alfred Brendel was a unique three-day festival combining several formats, including, among others, an educational event and a premiere performance. Piano legend Alfred Brendel came to Prague again to present his books, gave a lecture on the art of Mozart interpretation, and led a chamber music masterclass. One of the most sought-after ensembles in the world today, Quatuor Diotima, performed the complete string quartets of Béla Bartók and the Czech premiere of the composition Future Family of the Czech composer Miroslav Srnka. Czech Philharmonic was the partner of the entire event.
Hommage à Alfred Brendel byl výjimečným třídenním festivalem zahrnujícím několik formátů nejen edukačního a premiérového rozsahu. Klavírní legenda Alfred Brendel zavítal opět do Prahy, aby představil své knihy, přednášel o interpretaci Mozarta a nabídl komorní mistrovský kurz. Součástí dalších vystoupení bylo souborné provedení smyčcových kvartetů Bély Bartóka a česká premiéra skladby Future Family českého skladatele Miroslava Srnky, oboje v podání jednoho z nejžádanějších světových souborů Quatuor Diotima. Partnerem celé akce je Česká filharmonie.
