Honda 400ex build assemble part 12 Lost Footage Footage (continued from part 12). Assembling the motor top end, Wiseco piston rings, KMS Performance exhaust studs, carburetor intake boot in the engine on the trx400ex. This was accomplished by installing the exhaust studs into the cylinder head, computing the Wiseco piston ring end gaps tolerance against the cylinder (jug) size, measuring the piston ring end gaps in the cylinder (jug), making sure all the piston ring end gap placements are properly aligned, installing the piston rings in the proper orientation, inserting & torqueing all the bolts, and adding o rings and loctite (thread locker) & anti-seize copper thread lubricant. The engine cases were vapor blasted. This is an atv quad 4-wheeler rebuild.
