First mistake was taking your car for ball joints to a muffler shop.

That job for 2 lower ball joints costed me 900 usd including alignment

Thanks for the video guide. May I ask what part # or brand was that new ball joint? Autozone and Oreilly sell the same rebranded Dorman part. Does not center easy or fit in the knuckle well at all. Looks like you were using that part. I nearly damaged the knuckle forcing it in. Finally gave up and tried one from Advance. Saved my ass, it centered and pressed right in with no fuss.

what tools did you use to press in the ball joint? do you have a link like for amazon or something ?
