So we made a family trip back to Nova Scotia to visit my parnets and my father and I got out for a motorcycle ride ! it's been a while and it was great getting out with my dad. There is just something about holding the handlebars and hitting the open road.

Thanks man ! yeah it's a quiet machine, obviously a bit louder in real life but I might look at an after market pipe for it, but I dont want anything too loud.

Awesome tour buddy! - - - Your dad's bike is sooooo friggin' nice! - - - 5:55 - I'm sure glad we don't have toll roads out west here. What a pain in the BUTT that would be! - - - 11:40 - that's Oak Island silly - lol - JKOC, but I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact you were driving along Mahone Bay at this point. An interesting little bit of trivia for the viewers. - - - 20:45 - that fish looked delicious! Reminded me of touring up the east coast of Australia. Fish and chip stands everywhere! Hey man ! thanks ! I know eh, I love his bike ! The toll was to go over the bridge into Halifax, we dont have any toll roads except for the Cobiquid Highway by my camp, which is $4 for a car, or you can take the old highway for free. thanks a lot buddy, I appreciate the support !

Nice video buddy 👍. It really did turn out to be a nice day after the morning fog. Always nice to do things with the family. It sucks you got stung by that wasp, could be bad if you were allergic to them. The fish looked pretty tasty. That's a really nice place your parents have by the lake. Great video Jim. When we were kids Chester Grant road was dirt both ways in usually a treacherous drive in the winter. It was always fun going down to see Nanny Vera. And we used to bring chicken down too...lol Keep the vids coming

What a great outing with your Dad, thanks for sharing (makes me a bit homesick to get out for a run with mine as well). The South Shore is pretty awesome (where I live), but, I'd trade this coastline to be back in Albert County, "any" day of the week (any season). ;)

The ATV rally you refer to is the Fish&Chips rally is Chester Basin. haven't happened last few years because of Covid. Usually happens late January time of year. In my backyard basically. ✌️

Good way to spend time with your dad. The drive was beautiful and the weather was perfect for a spin. I hate wasp also man, last year I got bite by one that flew into my helmet right on my cheek. You’re not alone buddy lol. Pesky wasp. The fish and chips looked great!

Oh man, what a great video of good times with you and your Dad going for a ride in beautiful scenery and weather. The food trucks out here in the desert have Mexican food, and it's always really good. I haven't found a fish & chips food truck out here... lol. Glad you had the time to enjoy your day! Cheers! Sweet ride with your Dad in some beautiful Maritime villages, simply amazing. Food truck stops on the bikes is a must, it adds to the experience, and that F&C looked delish! Great video man, what a retreat your folks have there. Thanks for sharing, and keep well. Oh, and my buddy who's a huge Leafs fan, ran into Jason Spezza yesterday in Saint John, checking out the Memorial Cup!

Nice video awesome seeing the African twin out on a rip.Im curious I'm thinking of getting an African twin . Will it go where the atv goes. I'm looking at selling my atv and just having one machine to ride to work hit the atv trails and tour on.

Hey man ! thanks a lot ! Ahhhhhh I'm sure there are some riders who can get them to go where ATV's go, but I'm not one of them haha they are big and heavy. I was surprised how well it handled the off road stuff, Im editing a video now of a off road ride with a bunch of dirt bikes and dual sports and I made it through everything with no issues, no drops. I think most of the guys were impressed with how well it worked OR. if you wanted something thats easier to ride off road and have decent on road capabilities, then maybe something smaller like a DRZ400/650, would be better.
