I love this feature I discovered it yesterday embarrassingly enough! Had the car for almost 3 years and i never knew how nice it was!

What about the vents in the back seat for heat or air conditioning. How do you control that or is it just for fresh air

This is Honda’s problem! The screen above the controls fails to show if the temperature shown, in this case 58°, is in cool air mode or heater mode, One never knows this fact unless you push the A/C knob. Only then does one know if the climate control feature is pushing out cold air or hot air. I know it’s a simple task, but one shouldn’t have to guess if this is the case! Showing if cool or hot should be ever present!!!

I can't believe that no one at the dealership where I bought my new Accord could tell me what the hell the "AUTO" button on the Climate Control does. THANKS ! ! !

If you hit the push auto button to turn it on why can you not turn it off by hitting the push auto button again? So to turn off automatic climate control once initiated you have to hit another button.... Brilliant Honda!

How to get this to run for remote start. My Mom bought a new Civic, and when she uses remote start. Then climate system is just doing nothing.

Keep it on every time you turn off engine don’t shut off. So whenever you remote start next time it’s going to turn on automatically

Hello for 2018 honda pilot on auto option heat doesn’t blow out through the vent but when selecting other options hot air blow out. Any solution?

I have a question. I have a 2018 crv and when I use the car starter I feel like the car is not warm when I get in. Should I leave it at Auto and high for temperature. I called my dealer they say the car should automatically warm up. I don't think they know what they are talking about please help.

I'll just give my 2 cents on your question. I would recommend leaving it on Auto and High temperature initially (i.e. before you get in the car to drive). But once in the car I would take Auto off and fix the fan speed to my liking, and have the air blow to my feet and windshield. Also I would adjust the temperature, as it becomes too hot etc. But keep in mind it takes about 5 minutes or longer--depending on how could it is, for the car's engine to warm up from idling. Why is it the air is blasting out on both settings? Granted, it's winter and getting to 70 takes some time, but it should shut off at some point, right? Can I adjust it to medium speed fan?

So if I didn't have Auto mode on and I selected 25 degrees celcius of heat, it wouldn't be able to maintain that unless I have auto switched on?

I have a 2017 Honda Jazz with Climate Control. However when using the CC on Auto I notice it is often in re-circulation mode. I would rather it wasnt so I am getting fresh air in the car . In fact when I put it into fresh air mode then Auto mode switches off. Can you advise please [Hope you don't mind but I live in the UK]

I have 2019 CRV EX. I pressed the auto and want to cancel. I do not want it on. It won’t turn off like a toggle would. What am I doing wrong

You apparently have to turn the car off to get it back to NO AUTO. That seems like an issue. Is it?

Hi, when I use remote start then I go in the car at about 3 mins after, the windshield is fill with frost from the auto climate control system and takes too long to defrost. If I go inside and start normally it doesn't happen, what could be the issue?

When the auto function is warming up my 2017 Accord it blows air from the floor vents and windshield vents and the two dashboard vents that are located on the two sides. Is this normal? I thought maybe it should not use the side dashboard vents. When it is cooling down the cabin it only blows air through the four dashboard vents which is expected.

Yes, that is normal. What your describing is the car using the foot and windshield vents at the same time. You can manual select that mode as well. When the windshield vents are in use it also uses the two side dash vents so that they can be angled towards the side windows. That way you could clear the side windows of ice/fog/ect..

DELLA Honda in Plattsburgh thanks for the answer. I have another question which I did not find anywhere. In my 2017 Accord heated seats have mechanical switches. Can I leave them on low/hot , so when I turn on the car using remote start the seats warm up too. When the heated seats are on and the car is off the seats do not warm up but I was still worried about draining the battery. Thanks.

You can leave the heated seat switches in either the low or high setting. It will not drain the battery and the seats will not warm up unless the car is on. As long as your remote starter starts the entire car up, it should also then turn the seats on if the switch is left on low/high. If your remote starter does not turn on the entire car, like the factory starters in the 2018 model, then it may or may not also turn on the heated seats. That would all depend on the way the remote starter was set up.
