How To Use Climate Control In A Car-Full Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to use climate control in a car. I demonstrate the steps in my 2017 Honda CR-V, but the climate control features will be very similar in many cars, so you can take information and apply it to your vehicle. Climate control has a great "auto" feature that allows you to set the desired temperature and let the car's computer automatically determine the fan speed and fan temperature that will allow the vehicle to get to the temperature that you have set.

Thank you very much! Your tutorial on CLIMATE CONTROL did fix the issue regarding the Air Con on my 2022 CRV Honda Hybrid. It has something to do with the temperature control. All I did was put the temperature to LO, and now it's functioning perfectly. Thank you so much! Great video!!

So say you don't turn on the Auto mode but have it set to a certain temperature, the temperature of the air coming out may not reflect what you set it at?

I love the auto feature and that’s the only way I ever use my climate control most people I know never use the auto feature. They don’t even know what it does or they’re too impatient to let the car do what it supposed to do.

Hi, when you select auto and put the temperature to Lo does the AC automatically turn on? As in the compressor to cool the air.

Hi I too was looking for this answer and I now have it. With AUTO turned off, the climate control will pump out the temperature you selected constantly no matter how hot or cold it is in the car. Auto on maintains it

Stupid air conditioning control. it was enough to add a single button to change the airflow mode. Another stupidity is that it cannot be set arbitrarily.

Does that yellow light at '' circulation'' can you turn it off or does it always stays on?

I am here for that reason too Carl. The yellow light,it seems the only way to shut it is to get the green light 2 buttons away to come on. I can`t figure out to keep both of them off.Before I pressed the yllow one,all of these buttons were off.

Bernadette Laplante, pour ce qui est des commentaires comme celui que vous avez écrit: moi tout ce qui est en anglais je peux les mettre en français vous n'avez qu'à appuyer le côté droit de la souris, une liste apparaît, vers le bas il est écrit "traduire en français" vous cliquez et le tour est joué, pour ce qui est de traduire la vidéo comme tel, vous allez sur Paramètres qui apparaît au bas de la vidéo, cliquez "sous-titre codés" ensuite apparaît "traduire automatiquement" et là vous pouvez choisir la langue, le français y apparaît , n'oubliez pas de cliquer sur les deux lettres "CC" au bas de la vidéo, mais c'est très, très, très mal traduit je préfère le lire en anglais, sauf que je ne sais pas si ce sont tous les ordis qui sont comme ça, moi du moins c'est un HP, si vous le faites donnez-moi en des nouvelles, bonne chance

Ça m’a fait un grand plaisir de t’aider, on se croise les doigts pour que tout fonctionne bien, merci beaucoup pour ta réponse c’est extrêmement gentil de ta part, moi-même je me trouve tellement nulle dans ce domaine, je suis fière de l’avoir trouvé par moi-même, je dois dire que mes filles m’aident beaucoup, un bon exemple j’ai changé de cellulaire pour un i-phone je suis tellement nulle, hey que c’est compliqué, bonne fin de journée

Bernadette veux-tu en savoir une bonne? j'ai une CRV 2017, j'ai découvert il y a quelques jours que le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas, je suis allée voir cette vidéo, finalement ce que je faisais tout était correct, j'ai poursuivi mes recherches, et là encore j'ai découvert que la compagnie Honda a fait un rappel pour les 2017-2018 à cause du chauffage, j'ai un rendez-vous cette semaine, à suivre

I find that the auto climat control is completly useless and even stupid at winter because fan turns at top speed and don’t let the engine warm up fast specialy at idle it takes forever.
