Hi Nick. I totally agree, when I'm having one of those days, I get out on the bike and just go. I use most of the lanes you ride and have a good old chat to myself, always works. Cheers

The little lanes in this part of Kent, and over towards Sussex are perfect to unwind. We're so lucky not to be stuck in a city, where you'd get more stressed just riding out of it!

Hey Nick. Hope your phone call went well. Talking about mental health is so important rather than bottling it up which I think men do. I suffer terribly from depression anxiety panic attacks due to both my Parkinson’s and the medication I take … however even just tinkering in my garage with my bike let alone actually riding it has an enormous therapeutic benefit…. My one thing I have learned about protecting your mental health is Motion is the best Lotion!! Stay safe, stay upright and keep doing your bike ride waffles ! Gibbo

Call went as well as to be expected, so not great. At least it's all done now and they will pay me some money. Bikes are definitely great therapy, just like curry and beer! Although my head didn't think that first thing this morning 😂

Hi Nick Male mental health is such an important subject and is something that nearly all men find so difficult to chat about. Sadly my wife died in 2020, the last four years have been spent trying to find a completly new life for myself. Time out on my bicycle and motorcycle have been utterly essential in trying to sort out the shit that inhabits my head. Hopefully it's a subject that you will be able to return to in one of your future "conversations" Good luck dealing with the insurance company 👍 Take care out there

Cheers Motty, and I'm sorry to hear your sad news. I guess the more we talk about it, and the more videos people make, the more it will become out in the open and lose any stigma it currently seems to have. I'm glad that like me, 2 wheels make a difference. All the best 👍

When I ride home from work and I've had a busy day, Riding home is my wind down time. Certainly agree that a motorbike riding can be a great soother. Thanks for Sharing

Definitely. I've got a stressful call arranged tomorrow to discuss the insurance claim from when I was knocked off 😔 I'm already thinking about a therapy ride after.

Cheers, I think we're still some time away from that, even three years down the line. A long story short, they want to pay my missed overtime on an average, not actually what I have lost! 🤬
