Omg it's such a beauty and runs like butter. I love it mate, you have done a amazing job on that bike. Also I gotta you're a very skilled rider the way you leaving on those turns is beautiful, i get nervous. I have been riding for years but I have always been a pussy when it comes to leaning on turns, I show down should I just trust the bike and lean ?

Thanks, but you must be watching another video! 😂 Modern tyres are very good and will give lots more grip that you would think. Go on a track day if you have a suitable bike and see how far you can actually push tyres in that environment. The main thing is just stay safe, and enjoy the ride at your own pace 👍

Membury is very poor and I did the same thing of approaching from the wrong side, and yes Tesla's not open there. But Reading services are much better. Worth having the tesla app on phone so you can see which ones are open. I've been drivign i3's for 4 years now - it does get better with experience etc. BTW I never ever use eco-pro plus. and usually cruise at 68 or so

A great buy. I have a 20 model too, I love it. I made an one day trip from Wigan to Aberdeen last winter. Temps around or below 0C, very heavy winds, very heavy rain and snowfall, speed at 70mph or at the speed limit, 4 heavy adults (from 90-140 kg) and a big dog. The A/C-heater was blasting all the time and my range was at 100-120 miles. At the worst conditions that I could find in UK I could drive for 1.5 hour and I could charge in 30-35 mins with a city car that was designed 12 years ago. That was my one and only long trip I made, I prefer to fly if I have to drive more than 4 hours. I drive 6-10 hours every day at work, I can't do it at my days off, or holidays. Now in summer, in Wigan or around, at small trips to Liverpool or Manchester I make 4.5 to 6.5 miles/Kwh, in the winter I am at 3-3.5.
@MrDesmonick
@MrDesmonick 19 күн бұрын
Sounds like an epic trip! I only do 25 miles a day, so it's perfect for that. Pre heat or cool the cabin before each journey, and it charges to 100% overnight on my 'granny' charger 👍
@chrishar110
@chrishar110 19 күн бұрын
@@MrDesmonick It was!!! (I am Greek and my football team PAOK got the win at 94' in Aberdeen). I do 10-15 miles every day plus 40-100 miles on weekends and I charge it two-three nights every week for 7 hours (at 9p/Kwh) with the granny cable at 6 or 7Amps. It is enough to keep it between 40 to 80% I charge it to 100% only once every 3-4 months to equalise the cells. I don't think that charge it at 100% every night is a good idea. Even if it doesn't hurt the battery, I don't feel OK with it. I don't do it with my phone, why should I do it with my car?

Did the top end on my RS myself back in ‘83…. after a bodged service by the dealer. New cam, rockers and assorted gaskets… only took a day.. It ran beautifully after that… and I learned much from the experience…. unlike the dealer. Great bike to work on, remove tank, seat and side panels and everything is exposed. Much missed… been looking at the CB 300R and wondering if that might work for me. Any way the RS is sounding snappy!
