Why would you do this 🤔 Pointless on CBF's. They have a real nice smooth note to them anyway. The sound from a bodge job mod is so distinctive and doesn't get anyone thinking "oh that sounds cool". Personally I love my standard can. Sounds nice, doesn't attract wrong attention and my neighbours don't complain when I come and go at silly o'clock in the night time hours. But hey, each to their own.

Some people prefer a certain sound I think. The sound level with the mod is very modest. There are plenty of second hand cans out there if you wanted to go back to original. It's hard to justify spending to much on these bikes now as there value is fairly low. I have fitted a set of remoavable bafffles now and they take the sound level down a lot but still give a nice exhaust tone. I think the mod is worth a try before the purchase of expensive new cans.
