So this is like a late 90s 600cc sportbike in terms of riding position, comfort, and power... but with updated LED lighting and a digital TFT instrument cluster. That's very good news actually. One of my bikes is an '03 600F4i , and it's getting long in the tooth. This bike looks like a great replacement, a comfortable sport-bike with fairings.

Forget the bike reviews, the renewal quote and service I was offered by Bennetts this year was appalling and an absolute disgrace. I was offered better cover at less than half the price, so I’ve moved on. The rep on the phone was not interested at all. So after being on two wheels for over 45 years, my tip for fellow bikers is don’t use Bennetts!

Looks alright. Still though, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Triumph Daytona 765R or that Aprilia RS660 Concept to become reality. Otherwise... settling for an older Triumph Daytona 675R or indeed something like this Honda CBR650R.

I wonder if we keep calling for a 765R Triumph will realize there's actually demand instead of putting out what seems like 50 bajillion retro naked bikes. And absurdities like the Rocket (it's cool, but it's still absurd). I'm hoping the next gen of electric bikes are sweet -- if not it might be a STriple for me.

Currently been riding the CBR500R and wanting to upgrade to something with more giddy up, 650r would be the respectable choice but the ultimate goal is owning the Fireblade, is it worth buying the 650r to get in terms with the power before the firblade, or would it be a waste of money and just skip right to the supersport bike and learn from there?

I've had a CBR650F since 2015 and I've loved every minute with it, taken it all over the UK, thrashed it around the TT and learnt so much on it, with the right exhaust and some other parts it really does tick almost all the boxes, I'd love a Fireblade one day but im still in no rush to get rid of my 650, and if people say it's slow or boring etc then they must all own R1M's or H2's because it's been a right blast, although the original is abit heavy it feels very flickable and great in the corners, I'd say give one a test ride the new model seems to have improved in every aspect besides fuel tank space

One thing I'll disagree with him on is the "all day comfort" claim. I road mine from Boise, Idaho to southeast Oklahoma in 3 days last September, and after each 500+ mile day, my ass was absolutely killing me😆 Still, I would NEVER have tried that on the 600 or the Fireblade. My 650R is my pride and joy, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

@@bennettsbikesocial Yeah, sadly makes sense. I would have been intrigued to see what kind of advertising the bike manufacturers would have come up with, though. Back to having to watch the boring stuff you mentioned I suppose😴 (well, don't have to but you know what I mean).

Been a long time CBR fan but this new updated cbr650r is UAF. no where near the looks of R6.

The front looks gorgeous but the rear not so much. Maybe can cut that long tail section to make this bike look even better. I like this new version than the old CBR650F.

I wasn't aware they're trying to model it after the R6. Completely different class of bike for two diffwtypes of people.
