Hi Brian, I had a 2020 1.0 was told by a Honda main dealer that the wet belt had to be done at 80k or 5 years and the cost was €2000. Can you provide a link to Honda’s official recommendation on this. I was shocked to hear it was due in 2025 on a car with less than 50k kms and would cost €2000. I won’t name the dealer but it was outside Dublin

@@paulineabram6780 technically it is due at six years or 75,000 miles in ireland .. does the vehicle have a good Honda service history?

I’m not aware of notification for timing belt, most of our customers have done it early, but I’m pretty sure that there is no notification, so definitely something to Driver has to manage👍

@@bobanmunja you are correct on that model. its slides back, approximately 60% to 70%.

From recollection, this model is around 180 NM , the 1.5 version give 240 NM and a diesel 1.6 was 300 NM 👍
