yes honda retuned the 1.8 oriel civic bcz of complaints that 1.8 is a bit underpowered, it got a slight ECU upgrade and the 0-100 for the facelift model was around 9.45 seconds the pre facelift did it in about 9.8 seconds

Including myself, a lot of us have grown up with one corolla and a civic in the garage because we've loved them both almost equally. Corolla is the one you introduce to your parents, civic is the one who fights its own way home.

Grande is the good guy that offers a plethora of features and very suitable for Pakistani roads whereas civic is the bad boy that despite lacking somewhat in features, tenacity and adaptability, makes up for it in killer looks, thrill and brand value. FOR EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT TRACTION CONTROL - First of all BOTH cars had their Traction Systems on. Traction on/off has no impact on power unless there’s too much wheelspin. These cars don’t have the power to have that much of a wheelspin and traction starts to work after tyres spin. So practically these cars are not affected on good paved roads. ALSO, Grande in our video does 0-100 in 9 seconds check 1:05 - 1:14 and It cannot go any faster than this, The car was BRAND NEW.

I think that the reason civic goes ahead is its cvt transmission, because in corrolla and other cars it takes a little bit of time more to shift from one gear to another but in cvt the engine is constantly giving full throttle

I Love Both Cars But i think the reason why grande loses is because in civic when SPORT is ON it's RPM stays on 6500 but grande keeps changing gears, anyways love both cars

i am not surprised seeing Civic beat Grande, bcz the facelift model shown in the video, recieved a retune and the facelift 1.8 was at least a second faster then the pre facelift 1.8. Mean while the Grande shown is the same 2017 facelift one which continued up until 2021 and then got another facelift and was renamed as "X"

I have a 2018 altis 1.6 and i'll send you a video as proof. I raced 2019 civic 1.8 2 times in total and till 70-80 my car had the lead. After the second gear civic started pulling hard and gapped me. Grande has 20 hp more than altis 1.6 idk how civic took the lead here

1.6 has a conventional gearbox. Honda’s CVT system works in a different VTEC nature you have to be able to throttle it perfectly to get it kicked straight to 6000 rpms right away. Honda Civic Rebirth (conventional) stays ahead of Grande till 60. Plus in rolling race 1.6 kicks down instantly due to conventional gear. Grande has 138 hp and Civic has 141hp. You just have to know the torque pressure of Civic at 4300rpms - 6500+

@@MotorsportsPakistan oh no dude 😭 civic has 138 hp too rebirth and reborn had 141 plus grande has 2 nm torque as an extra what you dont notice i sthe fact civic starts frim the road every time giving it more grip and ive personally destroyed quite a few civic so 🤷‍♀️

bro even if it was your father who i am sure is an absolute amazing driver civic would have still one bcz civic has peak power on higher rpms and does not have simulated shifts like Grande. Civic stays at peak poer through out, mean while the simulated shifts in grande will give a superior initial pick but lose in the end bcz civic will catchup after 90km/h and win
