Honda Clarity, Blind spot detection and proximity sensors install

I have have condensed my other install videos into a very short condensed
install video to share my experience. I do not endorse any products, I merely share my purchase and installation experience. These products were chosen by me and purchased with my own money. Please note: this is about a 1year follow up and with exception of the blind spot detection system beeper that stopped working almost right away the systems are still working properly. Customer service is non existent with the blind spot detection system seller, they will simply say you made an error in the installation. However the price is minimal and you can pay way more for the exact same system from other sellers. Your milage may vary.

Wow thats a great video. Just curious, are both products still operational on your car?

Thank you. Sadly the Clarity was rear-ended. The bodyshop did a wonderful job repairing it however some how they forgot the blind spot system. They did have an speciality shop replace the backup sensor system. I didn't say anything, I was just happy to get the car back. I was going to install another. Actually ordered it and was prepared but decided not to disturb the freshly repaired Clarity. It's been almost two years, and the Clarity is doing great. Thank you for watching and commenting. Hey so i just bought a new bumper for my car but i need to drill parking sensor holes, i wanna know that dose all honda sensor size are same? I mean their diameter and how can I figure out where i have to drill

I don't have any Honda sensor size information. My aftermarket kit came with the needed hole saw. If you're bumper doesn't have the marking inside the bumper look at a like kind vehicle and measure if you can. You will have to be careful and decide what's the best positions are.

Hi. I'm thinking about install one but not too sure on how to tap power to this unit. Would you have information on where to connect to power and turn signal?

The Clarity has an open power tap at the fuse box. You will need a DVOM "digital volt ohm meter" and find the corosponding wires at the turn signals. I believe color codes are poster on inside EV'S Clarity section posted by MrFixit.
