If you turn the fan off and turn the car on but don't start the engine, after the beeping stops, hold the inside air down and clock the bottom defrost 5 or 6 times then let go. The inside air button will blink a number of times. The number of the blinks will tell you what problem the AC system is having. The car manual has a list of the codes. Easiest way to tell without doing anything

Thanks for good info. Just curious?? Could it take the better climate control in place of the dial only temp control? Might be a nice upgrade to have automatic temp control? Too much to expect?? Tx

the machenic said it was one of the 3 flaps that this car has and he doesn't know which one yikes I am gusess these flaps are all plastic like a flap door?
