Today I show you how to check and/or adjust the valve on a Honda CRF50 or CRF70. I use my old C70 as the demo bike though as the procedure is almost exactly the same, I do show you minor difference between the C70 and the CRF models. All you need is some simple hand tools, a feeler gauge and about 30 minutes. Welcome Back in the Garage!

My daughters CRF70 was hard to start. Intake was too tight and the exhaust was tool loose. Got them adjusted and it started on the second kick 1st kick after it was warmed up a bit. Thanks for the help

No prob. Be sure to lose some lock-tite on the lock nuts...don't ask me how I know...

I think the T is for the top Valves and Line the F up to do the Bottom valves. I just found this out. Never knew that.

there is two top dead centers, make sure to be on TDC of the compression strock.

1) all specs given by the factory are for cold engines 2) hot metal expands

intake and exhaust are both .05 +/- .02mm
