My Crosstour Nation brother, this is awesome. To keep flying pests away, use an oscillating fan. Put it on the highest setting and aim it at you. The forceful air will be too much for those pests to get anywhere near you while you’re working.

You could definitely hear the intake roar from the short ram. The sound was much more aggressive and sporty.

It's also gotten a lot better the more I've been driving. Hopefully I'll be doing a crosstour update video this weekend

Nice!!! How's it running after 4 - 6 months? I'm curious to if u needed adjustments to the exhaust, oil fill schedule, plugs, etc I was thinking of trying that the next time I clean the maf sensor on my crosstour

So far she's been running smooth! Just threw on the intake and that is it! It is a lot throatier now I really enjoy it, the exhaust may need to be louder tho lol

So ridiculous lol, I couldn’t believe it!!! I recently put the stock air box back on and used brand new stainless steel bolts haha

What size vacuum hose did you get? Hopefully having a different length hose wont cause a problem

I ended up running to AutoZone and got the same size as the OEM ones. I took the metal pipe with me lol I don’t have the intake installed anymore but I never had an issue with it. I might throw it back on this year. Haven’t done a Crosstour video on a long time.

Do you know what years are compatible for cold air intakes. I have a 2010 Crosstour and can't find one for under $300. any help finding a better priced one would be welcomed. Thanks

Hey David if you have the v6 motor the intake I purchased will fit! Looks like the brand I purchased they are all going for $500 right now! Not sure why even the exact one I bought is $500 so there’s no point in sending u the link. That is way too much money. I would look into K&N and see if they have anything available.

I can prob grab it for you but to be honest last time someone wanted it the intake was $500 and around $300 another time! Just keeps going up and down! But lmk if you still want that I can try and look for it!

Nice video, & what year is that Honda Accord Crosstour? I ask because the intake manifold looks like it came from a 2014-2017 Honda Accord.

I'm surprised you didn't have to disconnect the battery for mass airflow sensor. I'm guessing the check engine light didn't come on?

Nope didn’t disconnect it and correct engine light has never turned on since.

Hey man... Lovely ride.. Cool upgrade.. Looking at getting a Crosstour, but with the 4 cylinder engine.. I don't need the v6 power here and gas is super expensive here.. Anywho, wanted to hear your thoughts and maybe connect on Twitter? I see yours is an i4 engine..

Thanks! I actually have the V6 though haha but yes if you don’t need the V6 AWD then you will be fine with the 4 cyl.

Since you swapped out the old intake box, couldn’t you just take out all that plastic housing as well?

What do u mean? The plastic housing of the actual air box? That I did remove all of it. But if you mean the plastic that’s in front of the battery that’s part of it I left it in cause it still circulates some outside cooler air into the air filter area.

Haha yup I’ve always said short rams are the worst! Just sucking up hot air, I have a cold air on my S2k but that may be going back to stock.

I don’t really notice much at all, gas mileage and power might have gone up slightly if anything. Just sounds good when u get in it lol

I’ve thought the same and actually wanted to look into that! Would be nice if there was a plug and play speaker but I’m sure there isn’t. Might have to be something a lil more custom.

I'm not sure man lol, hard to tell without putting it on the dyno. Intakes always say between 10-25 hp. I like to think more like 5hp lol. But definitely sounds a lot better haha

Intake manifold or the aftermarket intake I installed? If it’s the intake I’m not sure I did not weight it but definitely weights less than stock.

So here is the link! It had gone up to 170 bucks recently. But now shows 500 (smh) that’s crazy!!! If u look around u will find something similar for the same price I paid! Hope this helps.

@@sdoismil that says it's for the 09-12 and eBay says it won't fit, but it's all J35 and it worked for your 2015, so I guess it will work for my 2015 too
