After replacing the headlight assemblies on my daughters 13’ CRV I’ve determined that it takes a special kind of person to be a car engineer. Also like the guy below mentioned buy all the clips before you start because it’s not if they’ll break no matter how gentle you are with them. Plastic cars suck. The video was great! On point. Thank you!

a few pointers 1`. Before you start this project, purchase a supply of plastic clips for the CRV and also yellow plastic clips for the grill. they get VERY brittle over time better to have them ready than not.. While these videos are helpful they make it look much simpler than it actually is \

This video was very helpful. 2014 crv. Changed both light fixtures. I replaced because of oxidation and restoration didn't work. These are better though because they have the black casing, not the chrome. I broke the yellow clips but replaced at dealership price. Still better than having them do the work. I wanted the car to be done same day and didn't want to order from the shipping company website. The bumper doesn't look touched because of clear instructions. Thank you in 2024. Crv with 71000 miles on it. Worth the investment

Thanks! Great video ... just finished ... your instructions were absolutely on point ... my wife had been complaining about the scuffed and discolored head lamps for 3 years!!! Finally I have peace!! =)

Thanks for great info. The upper glass is all hazed and dirty. is there a part that i can buy any just change the glass shell or do i need to buy whole headlight unit? thanks

You Can Buy a Re'Polish Kit, Or an Entire New Assembly, OEM is Stupid Expensive! Try Aftermarket, Way More Affordable, Should Be Good and Legal, Just 'Make Sure'! No! You Cannot Replace Just the Plastic Clear Front _ Its All One Piece!, Good and Best of Luck.

There actually are aftermarket sellers that sell just the lens but u gotta still take the headlight assembly out and pop it in the oven or use a heat gun to melt the butyl sealant/glue. 180-200 F should get it soft enough. U can buy the butyl but there’s plenty left over in there to seal a new lens on. Just if ur taking it out anyway it’s easier to replace the entire thing. I’ve taken Honda lenses apart to do hid conversion on an Rsx type s & a 8th gen si and it’s not hard.
