Love your vlogs! Have the same head-unit in my 94 Sol. The clearance behind the mount is a fraction less than I would like once the centre dash is back in though, so the phone is angled downwards. Looking to upgrade to a Pioneer flip screen to add Carplay. Just need to confirm the clearance behind the screen. Much love from down under! (Australia)

Hey man, Do you have a bit of clearance between the phone screen and the AC button ? I mean, is the phone angle downward or upward with all the center console back together ?

Yea for sure I do, I will have to do a follow up video on my system once I get my amp and sub installed here after the new year

Yes, I can do that in the future. I still haven’t installed my tweeters in the door panels and my sub because I haven’t found a nice placement for it yet and then I will create a follow up video 👍🏼

Me top can't wait for my bezel over lay to get here just did a fresh install just the Walmart special sony head unit with kickers sounds good enough doesn't drown out the the muffler

Hey, there is not an install kit that I purchased - I used the supplied wiring in the radio and wired them into an OEM radio harness following a generic Honda radio wiring diagram

@@OldSols thanks for the reply. I bought my del sol with out a factory radio or aftermarket radio. So the spot where the radio is just empty and hollow. Thats why I need a Dashkit/ Install kit to keep the aftermarket radio in place.

@@danl5632 unfortunately those are rare little bastards too, usually they are broke ... they do pop up on eBay from time to time though and you’ll get lucky. They other option is to 3D print your own.

Man please whatch out for the sunlight in your videos ... And i there is a much easyer solution to your wireing ... Just buy some iso connectors and you dont have to deal with this .. Its a good thing to know how its done but its not common anymore to do so .. Dont want to be rude or something but your video quality is not very good and i dont mean the resolution of your camara or something ... Be aware of lighting because i could not see anything regarding the radio or the app that controls it ..

JDM industries noted and noted .... it’s all good - no hard feelings here - my apologies tho - this wasn’t intended to be a review of the radio functionality .... just wanted to get it in and working. Unfortunately my GoPro is a dinosaur and doesn’t have a screen on the back. Need to upgrade in the future so I can see these sort of things.

@@OldSols sorry i did not know you wasnt aware of this .. Now i feel bad .. Just keep on doing what you do .. It would be cool if you could show a bit of the radio it self .. I whatch your videos regular and i like them but i wasnt in a good mood and the sunlight pissed me off im very sorry

JDM industries not a big deal at all buddy - don’t feel bad ... if we didn’t want comments we would disable them haha ..... a still have a series of vlogs coming with my interior and what not ... can tie a radio review into one of them for sure - will work on sunlight glare in future videos 👍🏼
