In today's video we will be installing a Super Circuit Upper Front Strut Bar.
As you can see in the video it could have easily been designed better to utilize both of the hood hinge bolts rather then just one. This is also how the instructions were posted on their website. I knew what I was buying so I can't complain. I mainly bought this strut bar because it comes in black. I plan on learning how to weld later this year so I do plan on fabricating my own in the future.

Have you ever done the struts on the front?

I had the front ones replaced around 90k miles.

Are you sure your engine/transmission mounts are in good shape?

Yes they are Jonathan. I could see why you would ask that though. Driving is fine and there is no clunking or knocking noise while shifting. I have had to replace the rear motor mount in the FIT because the motor would shake and rattle. The rear/lower mount is rare to break. I ordered this through RZcrewgarage.com (No Affiliation) rzcrewgarage.com/products/rzcrew-garage-super-circuit-front-strut-bar-honda-fit-jazz-gk5-hd-fs3-002 I tried to order this through Super Circuit directly but it did not go so well. RZCrewGarage was very responsive their emails, provided excellent tracking and had no problem shipping this item to the United States from Singapore. It just took awhile to get, understandably....

I love your videos but I have to say, judging from the GoPro videos, this bar is a waste of money. But then again, you are the one behind the wheel. If you felt a difference then you are good to go.

I would have to agree with you RainDog. I was really tempted to drill a second hole in the bracket shown at @8:28 and utilize both bolts from the lower part of the hood hinge. The strut bar bracket is shaped/curved perfectly to be placed 1" higher and utilize both bolts. I don't know why they didn't opt to do this. I think it would have been more effective. (I was probably experiencing the placebo effect, lol)
