I have loved this bike since it came out. Never really cared for the stock seat. Always felt like to took the "boys" and shoved them into you lol. But i too, really wish they made the Fury with the 1800cc.

Turn signals are hyper flashing. Seems to be pretty balanced, and looks like it rides nice. Sounds awesome, not too annoyingly loud. I like those handlebars, and you can always loosen the clamps, and lean them back a few inches for a better reach.

I want to get one of these bikes so bad. I had a Shadow Aero 750 when I was 17 and loved it. Just got a CBR1000RR and love it to death. Really hoping I can afford a Fury next year and have something I can relax on again.
@petroladdict34868 жыл бұрын
+Caretaker Flynn so one great/terrible thing about these bikes and really mosy metric cruisers in general is they sit and rot basically on showroom floors, so you can get brand new bikes for nearly half off sometimes cause they are a few years old. I know thats what my brother did with this Fury in the video. on the inverse this means resale value takes a HUGE hit, and it can make them a bit hard to sell on the used market.
@caretakerflynn21008 жыл бұрын
True. I really don't don't mind the bad resell though. I'm the kind of guy who tends to keep a bike and eventually mod the hell out of it so it ends up being hard to sell anyway.

I am just starting to take a serious look at the Honda Fury. All I hear 👂 is nothing but positive things said about the Honda Fury, people of all ages & different backgrounds and locations say a lot of awesome 👏 reviews on the Fury. I have to get one ☝️, the dependability of Honda is also very appealing and how fast it moves when I watch people ride quick on the on-ramp of freeways 🛣️ and highways 🛣️.

First u said that the bike had plenty of power and on the cons u said that Honda should have kept their 1800cc engine fot the bike.. Can u explain alittle cus im really thinkin of getting either the sabre or the fury, both have the 1300cc engine.. Thanks for an informative video
@petroladdict34868 жыл бұрын
+Train4Life78 Yeah sorry for the confusion, so the Fury has good power for what it is, but unlike a harley the power is a little higher up in the revband and isnt a monster load of torque either. Its a very flat "pull" if that makes sense. I'm not the best judge on "normal" bikes power output as I ride a modified VMAX and and an S1000RR daily. I would recommend these bikes, but if you get the chance change the bars the factory bars look good, but are super awkward at low speeds, the seat was a bit hard after about 2-3 hours of riding, but hey you look like a badass riding it so who cares. Im going to try to make a video explaining the bar setup on this fury, unfortunately he sold it and got a family sedan(wife rulles) haha. anymore questions feel free to post em or message me. I cant get my app to send me notifications so I try to check it regularly!

@petroladdict34868 жыл бұрын
thats really hard to say. If you are looking for a cruiser the shadows are great bikes, but still a little on the big side. the Yamaha BOLT is an awesome alterative to the little HD sportster. But pretty much any of the metric cruisers are decent to learn on. they are smooth and the power wont jump out and scare you. Harleys get heavy when you start to get into the bigger bikes. the only reason I say no on the fury not being a begginer bike is the low speen stuff is really hard to do with the low rake and big back tire.

@@Beehive_biker These were Mini Ape hangers which went up more than back. But I'm sure you can find some bars that have a good pull back allowing you to relax a bit while riding. Just get the bar diameter for the fury then see what fits online. the biggest problem we had when we put these bars on this one (5 years ago) was mounting the gauge cluster had to make the mounting plate out of steel and some finagling.

"For a Honda" ? Really? olo
@MrZashiratori7 жыл бұрын
The problem with calling this a 'chopper' per say instead of 'chopper inspired' is the fact of individuality as it has always been. If Honda suddenly made the first production line of 'ratrods' and you say "yeah I have a ratrod", n people ask you details n you say "Yeah it's a 2016 Honda 'Dustrod'." The people at ANY Ratrod meet would drag you down the road n beat u to a pulp. If you went to a chopper meet with one of these it may be close to the same ordeal. The name is the same as saying your ride is 'chopped' even though it's mass production. It's fabricated... not chopped... thus even the name 'chopper' itself doesn't pertain. unlike 'Big Dog Chopper' '05 Orange County Custom Chopper' it is... however.. chopper 'inspired' even though it is and always will just be a.. Honda Fury (without chopper as a designation anywhere in its name, even in its title admitting it's not one).
@iCRASHgetOUT7 жыл бұрын
Bob Frankenstein actually if you search for aftermarket stuff for the bike you will find the bike under chopper not cruiser. If you look on your insurance card if you have one it says 5 speed chopper. I do get our point though. Not trying to bash you. Just stating what I know because I have a 2013 fury. But... if I put a 10+ degree rake on it and a bigger back tire would you bash me if I called it a chopper then? That's basically all you would have to do back in the day to consider it a chopper.

No, it's not a massed produced chopper. There's is no such animal. A true chopper is fabricated and not massed produced. It's just the same as every other Fury, so it's not unique in any sense of the word. It's just another factory bike and they all look the same. Choppers are built, not bought.

@jeffs.58828 жыл бұрын
A chopper has to have been chopped. Not built by Honda. It's chopper inspired for sure but a chopper it will never be. I know the world has changed but you have to chop it for it to be a real chopper. In my humble opinion. Did I mention it's a Honda?! Lol

Jon Davis a chopper is. Not mass produced. Big dog big bear ect are all custom made bikes. The Honda furry even tho it is a nice bike is not a chopper. A chopper is a bike that you cut weld ect to chop it to make it your own. Not something a factory makes and labels a chopper the furry is a custom made bike nothing has been cut to make it better. @Hero_of_Legend7 жыл бұрын
NOT a chopper. There's more to being a chopper, than having an extended rake. That makes it a "custom". A proper chopper is one that is "chopped" of anything not needed to make it move ( the term taken from people buying production motorcycles, and removing "chopping off" the non-vital components ). No floorboards ( pegs only ). No fenders ( bobber rear end only ), no saddlebags. Just the bare minimum of what keeps it legal. Frame, lights, engine, transmission, wheels, bars, forks, and a license plate. It's not even allowed to have cruise control and still be a proper "chopper". And in theory, it shouldn't have rear suspension, either, but the exception is typically made for a Softail style. The Honda Fury is a production custom, like OCC and WCC ( nevermind their names ). It is not, in any sense of the proper term, a "chopper".
