I am changing the oil in a Honda GC190 engine.

Intro, Warnings, Things Needed: (00:00)
Warm Up the Engine: (00:25)
Locate Drain Plug and Put A Drain Pan Under It: (00:42)
Drain Oil: (01:11)
Clean Up: (01:47)
Put Drain Plug and NEW Washer Back In: (01:58)
Remove Drain Pan: (02:31)
Add Oil: (02:38)
Check Oil Level: (03:04)
End: (04:27)

When you warm up the engine make sure your water connection is on.

I have this washer...great little machine...do yourself a favor and buy a wand extension. The wand that comes with it is short and makes you bend over to use it. Quick connect wand extensions are cheap and save your back and are a great help in reaching higher areas. Good vid!

MAKE sure the water is FLOWING THOUGH THE PUMP OR IT WILL OVERHEAT THE PUMP AND DESTROY IT IN A FEW MINUTES while you running the motor. ALWAYS. FLOWING THAT MEANS YOUR SPRAYER IS SHOOTING WATER OUT OF IT OPEN!!!!

After filling you should fire it up turn it off then recheck the level some oil will stay inside the engine

So that clear hose that's next to the drain plug is not supposed to be connected to anything?

The clear hose is for the chemical tank. When you use cleaning solutions.

Question: What washer did you buy? I tried taking mine to Home Depot and the guy didn’t know what specific washer I needed for my power washer ( I have the same one you do) Btw, Thank you for this video it really helps👍

Honda OEM washer. Here are two links. The first one is amazon and the second one is Honda. The serial number is on the same side as the oil dipstick right by the red cover. A new washer Everytime is really unnecessary. Just flip it over. It's never gonna leak from the drain of you tighten it

It's my understanding that this pump does not require any oil change, only the engine. From the listing where I bought mine: "Reliable, maintenance-free OEM Technologies axial cam pump."

i believe it is a no-maintenance water pump.

@@MemphisMike901 When you're done using the washer, disconnect the water supply hose, turn the shut off switch to the off position and pull the starter rope slowly 5-6 times to clear water out of the pump.

The water pump is a 15/40 oil that's used but you can't maintenance it. This pump cost about $150.

I looked up the washer and it’s a crush washer. Once it’s crushed it’s too risky to reuse.

Into a tank at is supposed to be attached at the rear of the pressure washer. I did not have that tank attached in the video.
