*Hi, can you tell me if the clutch or coil MUST be replaced along with the compressor??* I have Honda telling me all 3 need to be replaced just because the open Thermal Protector?

Hello Maxwell. How were you able to determine that your original compressor was not salvageable? Could you have just replaced the bearing & clutch to feeler gauge specs, evacuated the system, and recharge? Was this a possibility? I truly appreciate the video because it looks like you had a successful repair with the new unit blowing cold. I was just curious why you chose a full replacement. I am also curious how you were able to determine the correct amount of hybrid oil given that your replacement was a used unit. Can you explain this please?

Hello Maxwell, can you tell me what was you car doing? Everything checks out on my car the controls inside the car are working, there is power, the clutch is engaging and the Freon is to spec. Definitely when the car is at idle blows warm air and when you get to 65 mph it works on and off. On a hot day won’t even work at 65mph. When I go 65 and come down to a stop will work for a couple of minutes then will blow warm air again. I would really appreciate if you can tell me what your car was doing and how you came to the conclusion the a/c was the culprit. Thanks in advance. By the way my car is a 2006 Honda hybrid with 92k miles on it. Also how many hours would you say this job took?

Did the ac stop working at the light? Then when you sped off or gave it gas it started to cool just not 100%? As if the car is not getting enough voltage to engage the compressor or?

Question is it possible that if they installed the compressor room the car will start leg shakin and kind of like if it's going to turn off

I removed the 3 bolts holding a/c compressor but it still won't come out. Tried prying it out and it's still stuck. What am I missing here?

Can you please tell me that how will it perform on auto stop. My car ac compressor is weak. On gets cool on 100kmph . And it gives warm air on autostop. Will changing the compressor makes ac ON on autostop too ??
