2016 doing the same thing here. Fill us in on the fix!

I have a 3rd gen and not a 4th gen, but from what I know the doors are very similar, and this looks like a sticking release actuator. I was able to fix it by taking off the plastic panel on the inside of the sliding door (the panel that has the interior handle on it, there are videos on how to do this on 3rd gens and 4th gens), peeling up the vapor barrier a bit, and then I removed the release actuator (it has three screws, an electrical connector, and a small spring). After removing it, you can either replace it or take your old one apart and lubricate it. I took mine apart (just one screw, definitely worth trying), sprayed some white lithium grease in it, and it now works like brand new. Cost me an afternoon, but definitely worth it.

I have a 2006 and the door sensors on the driver’s side passenger door sometimes make a false detection and open the doors back up when closing, but never has any problems opening back up.
@wiimaster28473 жыл бұрын
@@davidthehondaenthusiast That might be an issue with the door rollers. I'd address that ASAP because otherwise the door could fall off if they wear out too much.
